Title: Castlevania in Smash Bros.
Post by: Dracula Cruz on February 03, 2009, 03:41:38 AM
I've been thinking that Brawl could have included a Castlevania character or two. Any thoughts?

Hotlinking is not allowed, or so you say.

Anyway... Screw snake. Simon fits way better. Simon VS Samus needed to happen.

I say it's just a matter of time...  ;)

Simon, Alucard, and Richter will probably show up eventually, with Richter being a Luigified version of Simon.

Though personally, I'd prefer Soma or Shanoa over Girlycard. They'd make for a much more interesting battle.

Only as a trophy or Adventure Mode enemy.

Same goes for most of the characters, actually. Though a Maxim Assist Trophy would be awesome...

Manticore would probably make a better trophy assist.
And that was supposed to be something else, but heck, it'll do. ::)

Castlevania in Smash Bros:

A basic Belmont, and Stella Lecarde

Final smashes:

Belmont: Grand Cruz

Stella: Ice Sword ("Ready Sister, I shall kill you!") with the assistance of Loretta

Stages:
Belmont: a mountain Bridge
Track: one of the opening tracks from CV 1-4

Stella: 13th Street/City of Haze
Track: Iron Blue Intention, Victorian Fear, Dance of sadness, or Silent Prison

You guys are forgetting about the most important character in the Castlevania franchise.... duh!Dracula!

Dracula should have been there.
Simon and Richter and Alucard too

Soma would be an interesting player in brawl. Whenever he gets the smash ball, his hair could poof out and his eyes would glow red. Activating the smash would turn him into drac, where you could play as drac for the duration of the fight, similar to samus becoming zero-suit samus.

Ya, but including Dracula wouldn't hurt.  By the way, what would Dracula's final smash be?

Drac kinda already has a final smash. I mean, they could just copy his Super attack from Judgment. Not that hard, really.

I really don't mind not having a CV character in Smash. It'd be awesome though.

The real question is still, where the hell was Mega Man?

Maybe they can have a Tactical Soul as an item, like the Pok

Yeah, Simon, Richter and Drac should of all been there. Simon and Richter would have to have different final smashes of course unlike all of the Star Fox characters. For Richter Holy Cross and for Simon probably his Judgment super. They should of kept JigglyPuff out and just added at least Simon. They also should of had Zero and X. I hope the next Smash Bros has all of them. Which means I have to wait A WHOLE OTHER CONSOLE.

That artwork reminds me how the X series went downhill.

What would your opinion be about Juste being included?

Shanoa would be a nice addition.  Her Final Smash could be the Donimus union glyph.  If a Belmont is included, the Final Smash could be the Divine Storm crush from the series.  Alucard's Final Smash could be his Soul Steal spell from SotN.

1. Yeah. Jigglypuff just wasn't worthy; all Jigglypuff was was a lousy Kirby ripoff minus the Kirby.

2. What about Axl?

3. What will the next console be? Hmmmm..............

About that Jugglypuff bit, Jiggly actually has a couple decent moves, including Sleep and that horribly broken Rollout attack...

Ya, I'll agree with you there. Either way, Simon would have been a welcome addition. :-[

Jiggly's not bad if you know how to abuse Rest. Hell, she's one of the best characters for event 51 in Melee. ( I only say one of the best because I've seen someones beat it with Capt. Falcon and a vague mention on cheatcc that Peach just pwns them. That's debatable since the mention made no sense and Peach IS broken in Melee.)

Anyways, had they included Castlevania in Brawl, I'd imagine it'd be done like this, considering they had ONE playable character from Sonic and Snake's franchise. I doubt they'd have one sonic & MGS character and four for CV.

Playable character: Simon
Assist Trophy: Fleamen!!!
Stage:one of the villages from Castlevania 2, with healing priests, nighttime with zombies, and a silver knight included who would drop knives varying in power.
Item: Holy Water & Cross Boomerang...or even a flame whip.
Boss: Dracula, naturally

1. I get it. Jigglypuff has her perks. Either way, I would like to see Soma and Shanoa beating the living crap out of Snake and Sonic while Simon whips Capt. Falcon's ass, Alucard launches the Mario Bros. into oblivion, and Leon, Dracula, and Maxim mop the floor with Link, Ike, and Lucas, leaving everybody else to the entire Belnades family(especially Sypha and Carrie[Ha! they got owned by a little girl!])

2. They need to include Tactical Souls as items!

3. Would Manticore or Graham be a good assist trophy?

4. Opinions on Juste or Julius as playables?

5. Dracula WILL be a playable character!

6.(off topic) Castlevania in the next Marvel vs. Capcom!
