Some games that I would love to see made one day include:
Strider 3, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Lunar 3, Rockman X9, Chrono 3, DBZ Legends 2, Shinobi 2 (Nightshade doesn't count), Panzer Dragoon 5, Brave Fencer Musashi 3, a beat-em-up including Ninja Turtles, Battle Toads and Double Dragon, Konami vs Capcom, Metroid 5, DuckTales 3, Mischief Makers 2
..and, of course, Castlevania V.

A game where Luigi goes to Silent Hill
A GOOD new console Sonic game

Some games that I would love to see made one day include:

I'd like to see a Zelda game that's really gritty and dark. Much more than Twilight Princess, that game was just a taste of what I'd like to see. That game had the idea but just didn't go far enough with it. Like the time when Zelda disappears into thin air, making you think she died, but you just find her later on in the game and everything's ok. That is not what I'd like to see. I'd much rather have her actually die at some point, I think that'd make for a very powerful moment, moreso than in most Zelda games. You get the point, something more than they've done so far, hell, something to actually warrant an M rating! I really want to see something happen there.
Unfortunately Nintendo's the family-friendly company, so I'm guessing that won't really happen :(
please Nintendo relinquish the Zelda series to some other huge company which would take even better care of it...

Strider 3 wouldn't be out of the question, I mean Strider 2 for the PSX was pretty decent.
@true: Zelda with an M rating would be anything but taking better care of the franchise though. I mean honestly if you want to go way back to the beginning, the closest game that came to capturing the look of the original Legend of Zelda game was Wind Waker. If you want something more mature, you shouldn't be playing the Zelda franchise.
Personally, the game I'd like to see come back (and they've been teasing us with Smash Bros.) is Kid Icarus. That was one of my favorite NES games, and deserves some time in the spotlight again. Other than that, there are already 2 franchises coming back that I wanted to see. Bionic Commando and Punch-Out.

Interplay is supposed to be working on one, and Doug TeNapel is supposed to be in charge again.

New Road Rash and Streets Of Rage/Final Fight games would sure be nice. Also, Megaman Zero 4.

As for the New Ninja Turtles beat-em-up...i heard one is being made for XBLA and such. When i find the news link ill post it.

If you want something more mature, you shouldn't be playing the Zelda franchise.

Zero Mission is a remake, and Fusion takes place after Super Metroid so I consider it #4 :P

If I recall correctly, at the title screen of Metroid Fusion, it is quoted as saying Metroid 4. It takes place directly after Super Metroid (game chrono wise) and is therefore Metroid 4.

with Maria, Richter, Alucard, Trevor-Sypha-Grant [Reborn] all playable, and all with an actual story and reasonings for fighting, everyone after its peculiar goal...also a split screen for 2 players, i have always dreamed of that, and network play too. Oh, btw, awesome 2d graphics ;)

I just double checked, and Clara's right; it does say Metroid 4 in the title screen.
So, yeah, a Metroid 5 would be nice :)

Also, Rez 2 needs to be made. Im also down for another 2d Metroid. Hell at this point I'll take a remade version of Super Metriod.

They should get rid of 5-8 completely!

Not Really since Each Zelda game has a different Zelda and a different Link unless specified.

A truly grimdark Zelda would be nice. The artwork for the first game was epic.
Normally a new Bionic Commando would be on my list but that IS happening. WHOO!

Games I'd want as sequels or super-modernized:
Zombies Ate My Neighbors 2
Skate or Die 3 (Fuck the Tony Hawk games. I want my stereotypical late-80s punkers.)
Pocky & Rocky 3 (Or 4 if you count P&CwB)
Tobal 3 (We'll never get two, sadly.)
A Destruction Derby game all modernized but as good as 2 was. The sequels weren't all that good.
Another Road Rash game.
The Boogerman sequel that never came out.
Ninja Golf all re-made & modernized (look it up...comedy gold.)
Another Paperboy. 64 was SHIT.
Mega Man 10 (Just for the hell of it)
Super Mario Bros. 4 (Again, for the hell of it)

Most certainly! Also, i would love another EWJ, and maybe a new GitS game or the Sammy vs. Capcom game that was in production that got shelved....obviously with MUGEN such ideas art negligible, but it'd be nice to own an official release...
Apart from that, I'd love to see what the original Manhunt 2 was like, especially on the Wii....stabby stabby....
