Title: Gaming News 2009?

I loathe the first few months of each year.  Its bad enough that there aren't any killer apps on the horizon, but news of what's coming *if anything* is held hostage until the E3 media blitz.  Meanwhile the gaming press twiddles its thumbs by posting mostly speculation and commentary.  Hard news?  Forget about it.

I guess I'm somewhat depressed without any new games to look forward to.  Even these forums seem quiet...

These forums have seemed quiet for nearly a year. But look on the bright side, we might have Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 to look forward to by the end of the year.

I see no chance of D3 in this year. Maybe the end of next year.

Considering how long SC2 has been floating around looking like it's near completion your probably right.

There's word of a Salamander Rebirth coming to the Wii later this year, stay tuned.
