i'm just thinking that a 3d remake of aria of sorrow would look awesome, especially since there are so many soul power things, and weapons etc.
lol, just thinking outloud, please don't flame me lol. :-\

Perhaps this will happen in the 1999 game?

thanks for the welcoming
AoS was the first castlevania i ever played (thus my favorite), 5 years ago i saw my cousin playing it, and i've been a fan of castlevania ever since. and yeah, AoS is a masterpiece.

AoS is a fantastic game. of course the twist is what got me off-guard and really didn't exxpect. That and LOI's plotline was really getting me hooked.
A re-make would do it wonders. It emulates a lot of sprites and elements from SotN but does it very well.

Indeed, Aria of Sorrow looked fantastic on an SP. My save file is maxed out with 99%, all souls, all items, etc.

A 3D aria of sorrow is looking like a uncatchable dream. But i wish that some day this dream will come true.

I think the closest thing to moving Castlevania into 3-D would be to do it like Capcom's first in the series: Devil may Cry. IGA did state in an interview that he had wanted to do Castlevina in that particular design. But since Devil may Cry didn't exist at that time he had no references to work off of.
