It reminds me of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. However, it still looks interesting.
To be honest, I wish the next castlevania looks like this one.

That game was awesome!! Nice find!! I can't wait to play it!
-
What, no XBLA version?
-
Wow! THat game looks awesome! Something about it makes me think of Warcraft 3 somehow....anyway, yeah, that could be a great look for a new 3d-ish Castlevania, though the level design would have to be TIGHT for it to be any good.
-
So glad its for the PSN! I'm looking forward to getting this

Just like there's no PSN version of Marathon 2, or Doom, or Worms, or Portal: Still Alive, or all those other XBLA exclusives. Geez. :/

I thought ms paid for those exclusives (flal out i mean)
anyway, pity theres no xbla for it but there's PC, and my PC is most likely more than enough for it.
-
Looks good and promising... and it's a finnish game! Makes me proud :D
-
That looks really cool. I dig the wizard's ability to make & manipulate blocks.
-
It's times like these I wish the PS3 was less expensive than the 360, not the other way around :-\ But eh, it's coming for PC as well, so it's not a complete loss.
Now, the question is just, will the wizard be able to make his blocks and such via mouse? If so, then I actually think I'd be getting the PC version anyway :P

that guy swinging on a rope (or is it a whip?) looks like Juste Belmont.

Juste? I thought that he's looking more like Leon.

All the easy to pirate you, my dear.

Yeah, I thought "Leon" when I first saw him. Then when I noticed the long silver hair, I though more of Juste. But both, really.

No way, Leon doesn't swing. IIRC, he hits a pole and hops in midair. Its like John Morris.

I don't see the "familiar thing" in this game, for me, is onlyu another downloadable piece of crap.
-
It looks beautiful, but it confuses the hell outta me. :o

Judging from what you are saying in every topic, including this one, i don't consinder you a serious gamer. Because you don't like a game it doesn't mean that it is a piece of crap.
-
No man, I'm just judging for the images, really, I don't see this game serious enough, but I might be wrong, after all, i'0m human you know? ;)

After i saw your answer here and on the other topics, i think you are ok!! After all, like you said, we are humans.
-
So has anyone been playing the PC version?

I have. This game is fucking epic. Incredibly beautiful. The puzzle-physics system is amazing. I love it.

-
I'm up to the 5th level.
s'cool, except for the Wizard being absolutely useless in 90% of all combat situations.
-
He resembles Joachim more then anyone else.
and I can see why people might make an arbitrary connection to CVIII, but actually wanting the next CV game to look like this?

It's cuz he can't learn that goddamned fireball spell. Nngh.
Once you get the "plank" spell, it's easier to draw out platforms to fall easier than it is boxes. It's just a matter of timing the physics correctly.

There are a few similarities to Castlevania if you look for them.

I played the Trine demo when that launched - it's pretty but seems a bit small. Loved the way they handled the story, and Steam Achievements were a nice bonus, but the price seemed a bit steep for that and what I thought was fairly uninspiring platforming exploration.
