I'd rather they make Lunar 3, but oh well. :-\
-
I played this game back when it was released one the PS1. If they change the game (graphics, added dungeons, etc) then I'll give it a shot, if not I'm not going to pay $30 for a game that's 13 years old and isn't really anything to write home about...
-
This is one of those games I always intended to play but never had the time --another chance to pick this one up is certainly welcome...
-
Or at the very least do sometihng lunar 2 related; that was a much better game and hasn't recieved half the amount of remakes that the first one has.
-
The first one got 1 more port to the GBA as Lunar legend, you forgot that. :P
(not more than half). 8)

I like blue-haired girls, and Lunar has had a bunch, so...:D
-
There already is a Lunar 3 out there. In fact There might be a fouth one But I'm not too sure. Anyways It's out for the DS

Yes, lovely blue haired girls!

As in, a numerical "3".
A game literally called "Lunar 3" and not some lame-ass gaiden shit like Magic School or Dragon Song~

I agree with you there! A TRADITIONAL sequel, same battle layout, cast of lovable and humerous characters, and epic story! From what I hear, it's never going to happen. Or at least the way it should happen(with Team Alex heading the project).
-
yeah, unfortunately. Which is a shame, because I remember in the manual for Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, they had some interviews with the creators, and there was some discussion about on-going Lunar 3 production. Which apparently never happened, or was incorporated into/became Dragon Song or Magic School or something.

Well, I think Magic School came out before that. The three games(Silver Star, Eternal Blue, Walking School) were all Studio Alex games. They were updated and ported as Silver Star Complete, Eternal Blue Complete and Magic School(but still were generally based on the Studio Alex originals). Dragon Song was the only non-Studio Alex title, and it shows. That's why I doubt that even if they DO make a tradional Lunar 3, if they can even make it up to the parr of Silver Star and Eternal Blue. At least get Toshiyuki Kubooka back as main character designer, and not just "art supervisor", like in Dragon Song. Keep the battlefields in classic format(enemies on the left, heroes on the right, and allow both to move around the battlefield(bring back having some bosses perform area attacks).

Still haven't gotten around to finishing the first one.

Magic school is decent, don't lump it with the shitstorm that is Dragon Song. >:(

Just got my limited edition copy Lunar is probably my favorite rpg of all time, i dont know why i guess at the time i played sssc i was a fan of the anime style of artwork and a sucker for love stories like that anyway so far its pretty much an HD version of Silver Star Story Complete and has a neat little (Added) intro when you start the game. If you are a fan of the game and series I would say pick this one up if not and just like the jrpgs and never played it I would say get on ebay and look for SSSC for the ps1. Overall though its bringing back some good memories.

I also picked up the PSP Lunar game too. I have yet to try it cause I'm still playing the PSP game, Star Ocean.

I loved SSSC on psx. One of my favorite RPG's. This game looks awesome, I just don't have a psp. I'm not at all into hand held systems. Which sort of sucks, cause tons of awesome looking games are on psp. Games I think would of been awesome on PS2. This game looks awesome though I'd say. Love the graphics. I wish they'd put stuff like this up for download on the 360 or Wii.
