I just got a 360 on ebay and fixed the dvd drive. I "fixed" it as well...
So now Im lookin for good games. Ive missed 90% of the systems life as Ive never actually owned one only borrowed one for a while.
So far Ive got:
Mass Effect
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Midnight Club LA
RE5
Sacred 2
Saints Row 2
and workin on gettin Armored Core 4 Answer.
Im waitin on my HD to get here and I dont have a MU so I cant save anythin so I havent played anythin but Mass Effect and Midnight Club makin sure its all workin after I fixed it.
So... what games do I need to be gettin?

I assume this thread is meant to be called "CAN'T live without" so I'll fix that for ya.
Anyway.
Lost Odyssey is an absolute must-have if you're a JRPG fan, and on the same note if, you liked Fable or love Western RPGs, get Fable 2. Oblivion also runs very well on the Xbox, as does Fallout3.
Beautiful Katamari is a bunch of mindless fun, but doesn't have quite the sparkle as its predecessors did.
Left4Dead is for any online shooter fan that loves a good basic co-op experience. Even with the "Same levels over and over" each playthrough is different, and teaming up with random people can be loads of fun.

- Bioshock
- Oblivion
- Fallout 3
- Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Haha. None of those are exclusives.

I feel bad for whoever spent $60 on L4D. Yeah, it's an amazing game, but the PC version has already had numerous amounts of deals through Steam. Also, the L4D SDK just came out.
Long story short, PC users get a bunch of extra user made content for free until the end of time, while 360 users get absolutely nothing other than some DLC.

I second Bioshock. One of my favorite 360 games by far.
The others I own that I consider "must have:"
Dead Space
Gears of War (both)
The Orange Box (if you haven't played it on PC)
Dead Rising
And I'd recommend Condemned 2, but not necessarily the first one. The first Condemned has a decent storyline, but the combat becomes a chore after a while. The sequel is much more fun to play.

I have a friend who's pretty much caving and selling his Wii with the intent of getting a 360. I'm telling him to get at least Resident Evil 5 and a couple of the 5000000 FPS games on there.
