As much as grant was a long way off from his Castlevania III counterpart, he's actually one of my favorite Judgment characters. I loved his sarcasm and lines mainly. I still think he took the spot of Castlevania's ubiquitous mummy man. Who needs Akomodan II when you can combine two characters into one?

I suppose its a consolation that they didn't turn Grant into a Jack Sparrow rip-off, although some pirate attire would have been nice.

Jack Sparrow rip off?

The original, read: not gay, Grant was sporting the scarf and tattered pants far before The Pirates of the Carribean ride ever got a leading protagonist, or a story for that matter.

What I mean is that Obata could have worked off the pirate motif from CV3, and turned him into a Jack Sparrow ripoff. I'm saying that's a good thing.

I wasn't saying his original appearance was a jack sparrow rip-off.

I thought that Grant's character design was one of the worst character designs in a game loaded with bad character designs.  Buckle-fetish Simon and Robo-Death were bad enough, but... what were they thinking with Grant???  If they wanted a Mummy Man looking character, they just should have made Mummy Man a playable character.  Grant is a character thats very easy to get right, and they managed to screw him up royally.

But on topic, I agree that this idiotic design would fit right in to Judgment.

Her Vampire killer whip needs to be longer and with the spiked mace at the end.
