After seeing all those Simon figures pictures in here, I couldn't help but make one of my own. Though it's different than the official ones, I think it came out pretty well.
The figure (as you probably figured out yourselves) is from "Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest".
Its sizes are 22*12 Cm (8.75*4.75 inch).
Made of two layers of wooden pieces, the bottom is an entire piece painted black, the top are 15 pixelized tetris-like pieces, painted white and Red. The paintjob isn't the best ever, but it's sufficient for me.
First one is a nice, from above photo of the figure. The keyboard gives you an idea of its size.

Next photo is taken from an angle, so you see it is two-layers.

The last one a vertical photo of Simon leaning against a glue bottle. ;D

SPECIAL THANKS TO: Forum member Efin, I took the sprite I used to make the figure from his site. Also, to Konami of course, for giving us inspirations for works of art!

Wow, that's pretty impressive for a home-made figure. =) Seeing how good you are at doing that, maybe you should make other characters as well. Once again, great job! ;)
-
Its very well done, you should do more of them!
-
very neat. I wanna get some of those pixel block things doubleT posted so I can make all the CV heroes =D
I couldnt make one outta wood Id probably end up with a missin finger glued to his head or somethin

8-bit Simon and SOTN Alucard are quite a bit diffirent in ways of detail lol :P

No shit! You know how much effort it would take to make an Alucard sprite? I would need, like, 20 shades of black.

That's pretty cool, man...I have to repost my 8-bit Simon stitching, myself, though...

This craftsmanship is B.A.

Excellent. I like that a lot. Simon's Quest is one of my favorite games, too.
-
Nice job man! Way better than what mine would look like, if I didn't know you made it and I was just at your place and saw that I'd ask you at what store you bought it from. :)

Wood, Lego and plastic... I'd have to wonder what else they can use to make an enlarged 8-bit Simon? Good job by the way!
