Either by modifying her Saturn / PSP sheet or working from scratch.

I know the material that exists of her isn't much to go on at all, but I'm interested in seeing fan interpretations of this.

You've just given me a fantastic idea for Opera of the Red Moon. :D

I personally have no idea if somebody out there has actually made a fully rendered sprite sheet of this version of maria. But I think I'd be quite cool to see... Come to think of it I don't believe this canceled character even goes by the name of Maria. :-\

Thanks to JPCVFAN, we get direct word from Koji Igarashi that the heroes were meant to be Richter Belmont and Maria Renard, while the antagonist was positioned as a "foreign rival" or, more likely, a rival whose characteristics are based on a superficial view of foreign culture. Obviously, the "rival" is akin to Charlie Vincent from Castlevania 64 or more likely Belloq from Raiders of the Lost Ark--an aggressive antihero who's looking to trump Richter by being the first to destroy Dracula and to do it by any means necessary.
Pink girl is Maria.
-
Red guy is Richter. Blue guy became Trevor clone. ;)

Let me walk through that idea.
Iga confirms Maria is the pink girl.
Pink girl hangs out with blue guy.
Blue guy is the rival character? How does that work?

because red guy became SoTN Richter and blue guy became Trevor in the SoTN Trio =D
-
Ya know just looking at the red dude... change a few colors here and there and you have yourself a Belmont of the knights Templar. :)

That's not anything to actually go by.

Of course not... whered that even come from? Were talkin about sprites

The original sprite sheet (vkillers.gif) came from Konami's long-gone, 'official', one-page CastleVania page from about eleven years ago.
-
Eric, can you upload the vkillers.gif
-
Sure.
(https://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.terriblehands.com%2Fpictureocity%2Fcvaniocity%2Fv_hunters.gif&hash=4f13e1d1bfec311bc452423fcc839c7b)
Oops, apparently the GIF is named "v_hunters" instead of "v_killers". Mine is dated February 3, 2001 (9:11PM, give or take a Daylight Savings Time), so it's safe to assume that Konami's one-page 'official' site was on its last legs before CircleVania dropped.
Thankyoudrivethrough. </beavis>

Thanks for the sprite. Ok so did Konami upload a full sprite sheet of both the Bloodletting characters?
-
Never. What you see is all they ever gave.
-
Chances are if you want to see a full sprite sheet of this version of Maria then you'll have to make the sheet yourself. Kinda like the romhack i downloaded a while back. It was Castlevania Dracula X for the SNES but somebody made an intire spritesheet of the anti-hero character and put it in Richter's place. I also saw on Youtube a fan made Castlevania game that featured the original 32X Richter character sprite. Even though I know the name of the fan game I haven't been able to download it. Curses!

That hack was Thaddius I think

This is everything I know.

Yep, that's the game. Now if only to download it...

Castlevania X Mugen Game Bloodletting Belmonts.
So I am guessing that this mugen author must of made the sprites himself.
Yep, that's the game. Now if only to download it...

Well I tried the game and it plays exceptionally well for one that claims to be bogged down with loads of bugs. My only complaint was that the Vampirekiller was too short.
