Title: My incredible Lords of Shadows Dream
Post by: DingusBelmondo on November 18, 2009, 12:56:56 AM
I had an incredibly epic dream that I was watching a new trailer for Lords of Shadows. That is kind of sad. Furthermore, the art style and enemies featured in my dream where awesome. One of the bosses looked like a wolf made out of material similar to Zobek's armor, with the face of the God Mask. There were also various similar bosses and landscapes, all feature Gabriel doing all kinds of awesome tricks. Whats even MORE sad, is that i'm afraid Lords of Shadows will not be cooler than this dream.

Cool.  I hope it does turn out that good.  My standard for what I expect out of a game of this caliber been set by a dream I had between when LoD and LoI came out.  Some of the screenshots are coming awfully close to meeting my expectations.

Lol.
When you start making up new trailers in your dreams, it means the trailer-makers at Konami clearly aren't doing their job, at least not fast enough.

I once dreamt about Castlevania after playing PoP: Sands of Time for 5 hours straight. The dream was clearly inspired by PoP, but it had a whipwielding Belmont (I think) being chased by the Grim reaper through a crumbling gothic castle. The Belmont used his whip to swing across gaps and other obstacles while avoiding flying sickles and stuff. I woke up and had to write everything down so I would remember it the next morning. No 3D Castlevania has ever come close to the awesomeness of that dream :(

Yeah, I also had great dreams with CV, but a funny one, was the night before the last Konami gamers night, remember? we were hyped because we thought that the AlucardVania would be featured there :D so, I almost couldn't sleep that night, and when I did, I had a dream with the New castlevania, inside the dream, I was frustated: SUPER SMASH CASTLEVANIA! Fight with 70 characters of your favourite saga until death! in colorful escenarios and awful lot stories!  :-X art from the acclaimed Takeshi Obata! Biuld on the same engine of the critically acclaimed Castlevania Judgment!
After some "damns" inside the dream, I woke up, in that instant that you can't tell the difference between dream and reality, I was saying: "Damn Iga, you did it again, damn you" but everything was a dream after all! :D

judgment i still feel is decent enough for a second but...if they wanted to win more fan service, include all original models/clothing for the characters so the player has the option, as for lords of shadow, i cant see them f#%$ing up anymore then they already have on it, in all honesty all i can hope for is the dracula's appearence isnt bastardized, death well he changes but hes still death, unless you see him in POR then hes megatron

To be fair, dreams don't have budget, deadline, or hardware restrictions.  :)

Too True.  Plus, in dreams, it's just your imagination instead of the imaginations of multiple people who have conflicting ideas.
