Post by: Jorge D. Fuentes on February 18, 2010, 06:11:50 PM: I thought it was good in a "Classic Universal Pictures" type of way. That implies that it carries a lot of the quirks (including some of the cheesyness) of the old films, which makes it charming, while at the same time it's modern.

Post by: X on February 18, 2010, 07:54:18 PM: It's interesting the Universal studios id revisiting all their old horror flicks such as 'The Wolfman' and 'The Mummy'. I guess we wait for 'The Creature of the Black Lagoon' now.

Post by: Vampire Killer on June 24, 2010, 03:44:13 PM: The only bad part of this movie imo was Del Toro's acting. I've seen him act very fluidly in some films, but in this, it was like watching a block of wood read lines from a script.
