It is worth to listen it!!!!! ;) :)

Damn!! It's even got bloodlines too! Gotta get'em all! :)

That site needs a Megaupload link. >_>
-
Yes it does! The remixes are pretty good, though. I like the old midi mixer style.
Reminds me of what this game might have sounded like in the arcades or X68K.
-
wow, the versions of all these songs are fantastic! I would love a hacked version of SCV4 with this music in it. That would be great
-
I'm actually not rather impressed with this in a whole. The mixing is way out of whack for most of the tracks, and some just come off as having no punch or power. Some of the samples chosen are poor/clashing with others in the set, or has too much reverb. On the other hand I'm happy to see someone at least attempt this. There are still a handful worth the listen though. I'd still recommend downloading this set.
These ones caught my ear;
The Last Prayer <- personal favorite on the CV4 OST
Sleeping Sorrow <- another personal favorite on the CV4 OST, but it's not too hard to screw this one up
Carnival of the Lost Souls
Interlude 1 <- him just doing it is enough to be cool
Dancing Spirits
Forbidden Tomes <- pretty well done, one of the really good ones on the album
Interlude 3
Bloody Tears <- just needs to tone the drum volume down a little, and maybe add a slight bit of backing into some parts
Vampire Killer <- I really liked this rendition! felt really classic and fun
Servants of the Night
Blood of Destiny <- super long overdue arrangement, just wish he did more with it
Anthem to the Morning Sun <- I really liked this one
CV4 is LONG overdue for a solid set of arrangements of some key songs that never seem to get done by anyone. Their complexity likely lends to their lack of arrangements but still...
I have to give the guy credit for attempting this though. Even if they didn't come out super great, he did do an entire arrange OST, and it's nice to see CV4's OST getting some much deserved attention.
P.S.: Is there a download limit per user, or did their site hit a bandwidth limit?
-
They might have a download limit but I've never encountered it when I went there. Then again I wasn't downloading a whole shwak of tunes either. I simply started with the OST, went to bed and picked up where I left off the following day.

I agree with what uzo said, but from what i remember the site doesn't have a download limit, probably it must have been a bandwith limit.
-
Oh, crap. I'm never gonna finish sorting out my incoming MP3s! XD Here goes!
[EDIT: The Next Afternoon...]
Darn. :\
A lot of bad instrument choices (IMO), missed notes, lack of certain instruments, and the occasional sense of "I'm in a rush!" on certain songs sends all but two tracks into the Recycle Bin: Sleeping Sorrow and Interlude 1. (Forbidden Tomes and Interludes 3 and 4 might also survive.)
Sure, props where it goes, but darn...
The Artist on these is Yasher, right?
-
Yes, his name is Yasher. Does his name has to do something with the quality?
-
About as much as the names Disney, Nintendo, and Konami should, but that's not why I asked; all of the iD3 tags were blank and I can't read Cyrillic. :\
-
Quite the library, and many arrangements.
Hey this reminds me of our lovely Dungeon's setup.
^_^ they must love us too
-
quite some arrangements you have there.....true cv fan!!!!! all of them have something special!!!congrats!
-
OMG he has mad skills.Taking midi files straight from vgmusic.com and just "upgrading" them with poor quality samples. Pro guy this Yasher.
Seriously listen Dracula's Castle ver2 :D
