Title: Question about avatars
Post by: thernz on April 05, 2010, 05:42:22 PM
So, the forum uploads the avatar even if you select, "I have my own link" and graciously donate another site to host the image. The forum decides to be overtly masculine and takes the job, but then it just shrinks it like a nagger.

But!

This doesn't happen if the image is from Wikipedia! What does THIS mean?
I'm sorry that this is a stupid topic but hey, I posted.

I believe it's called selective leeching. Why does the Dungeon only seek the warm embrace of such a monstrosity of web 2.0 over image hosts when it is the duty of the image host to provide such services? Why does it turn instead to this particular foul beast with lesions of deception? I fear the Dungeon is not stable in its foundations, its heart, its soul, its very code.

i feel like a singing asian girl whenever i post tee hee

You ARE a singing girl. :P

Perhaps the forum has a love for Wiki pictures, or something funky is awry.
