...is currently my most played song, according to iTunes (which is evil), at 140 plays since being added (along with the rest of my MP3s) in late summer 2008. It is distantly followed by Akazora Renka, a beautiful theme from Shari no Kuni Himawari no Shojo (an H-Game), at 65 plays. It had been blown out of #1 a week or so ago when the former was kept on loop and was sounding so good.
The N64 version of Sinking. Old. Sanctuary. A grand, regal, and passionate (dare I say romantic?) variation on a deathless theme... I really like that song, how 'bout you?

I dunno if Ive heard the LoD version... but the Rondo version I LOVE those parts where that one instrument plays real long and it kinda warbles... man thats so awesome
-
Rondo version? This music was used for Bloodlines, LoD and CotM, as far as I know! It was so amazing to hear it live in concert, performed by orchestra!
-
I think it's nigh impossible for a remix of Sinking Old Sanctuary to be horrible. Then again, given Yamane's arrangement disc in the collection...
Hohoho, we might be on to something here~
A polar opposite to LoD's version. Cacophonic in its added visual kei vocals and monotonous nonsensical lyrics, wrapped in the instrumentation of the banal. My frothing demand for such an audio malady increases.

The LoD version is the best version. PERIOD!!!

This is the version I have

Hmm i did not know that Moon Fight in DXC was a remix of an older song. Probably never knew because i don't think i got to the end of CV Chronicles.
Edit: Fixed that little problem lmao! although it turns out it wasn't that far in...it's just that the section with the song is sooooooooooooo short.

The Bloodlines (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_ILz_PdzsY) version is superior.
This is to be expected, as Bloodlines has the best soundtrack.

I think it's nigh impossible for a remix of Sinking Old Sanctuary to be horrible.
I've always loved the tune, but being forced to listen to (the GBA version of) it through most of the "Entrance" areas of CircleVania got old real quick. It just didn't fit. Here I am, chillin' out in Dracula's rooms...Sinking Old Sanctuary?! Here I am, chillin' outside the Austrian Castle...Sinking Old Sanctuary?!

CV:CotM - "Sinking Old Sanctuary" Special Arrangement (http://eiac.paragonsigma.com/mirror/fuentes/CVCotM-_The_Sinking_Old_Sanctuary.mp3)
CVBloodlines- "The Sinking Old Sanctuary" (with Legacy of Darkness instrument set) (http://eiac.paragonsigma.com/mirror/fuentes/CVB-_Sinking_Old_Sanctuary.mp3)
I always loved the faster pace of the Bloodlines version, but I also loved the instruments used in the LoD version, so I sort of blended them together.
As for the CotM version, I arranged it so that it sounded more like SotN's "Marble Gallery" music, what with the Jazzy Waltz beat and modern-style instruments.

Am I the only one who prefers the CotM version?

Am I the only one who prefers the CotM version?
I do too!
Except that - like someone already pointed out - it did get a little old after a while. They definitely should've used a different theme in the Triumph Hallway.
