Gadzooks... Playing SMB as Bill Rizer has brought a whole new definition to the word "fun."
-
Damn straight, buddy! I just popped in my PSX gamepas, and HOLY CRAP is this fun!
Samus+Super Mushroom+Fire Flower= Justin Bailey <3 a.k.a. PURE WIN!!
EDIT: Simon pwns bricks with his axes!!
-
this rules. thanks!!
They used the best Metroid tune ever, for Samus. WIN!
-
damn... a snes version of this in Super Mario World
-
Going through the game as Bill Rizer now, good find OP.
-
I played this earlier today after I saw the link on Joystiq. Playing as Bill from Contra is probably my favorite so far. I know I'll want to play as everyone else, too. And you can use a gamepad? This is awesome!!
-
Nifty :D

I'm playing since yesterday and can't get enough of it. xD If author is reading this - please make something like this with Castlevania stages. Fighting Death with machine gun would be so epic badass. :P
-
I suggest not using Simon in water levels as his jump is a huge liability.
And is it just me or do the denizens of Mushroom Kingdom seem strangely resilient to mystical weapons, bullets, & energy projectiles?
Also, they are stunningly weak to being crushed under foot & bumped from below.

yeah.. There doesn't seem to be much point to getting the powerups for anyone other than billy.
-
Yeah, most of the other characters' power ups are more for utility than combat.
-
that's pretty awesome.

If Captain N had to be a video game then this is it!! I can't believe how Bill Rizor can just chew up the stages with his spread gun! I was literally demolishing the sewers with it! I've never had so much fun with a classic cross-over like this before! Two big thumbs way, way up!!
