What members of the belmont clan 's adventures is most please you for the castlevania live action movie ?
-
Either Trevor or Simon.
-
First of all, this should have been a poll instead of a regular discussion thread. As for the most suitable belmont for the live action CV movie, it doesn't really matter to me because they are mostly the same to me. But, if I had to make a choice, I'd choose Juste for the reason of his spell-fusions. You have to admit that they are more impressive then the attacks used by the other Belmonts.
-
i bet it will either be Simon, someone obscure like Christopher, or they will make up a new one.
-
I'd say Simon Belmont because CV2 is more of an adventure game the a level by level buster. I'd also say John Morris as well since Bloodlines has the potential to be a movie and a "proper" sequal to Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Simon just because of the second game. I would be cool with Sonia, Richter, Victor or Solieyu. The last two were never playable even though they are in the lore of the series. So give some love and some dap for your boys.

Any answer other than Simon or Trevor is wrong.
-
Initally I'd say Simon but I think Richter would be cool too.

This.

OC Belmont.
-
I'd say the lead would have to be Trevor.
Best case scenario for me would be Alucard, Sypha, and Grant as well as Trevor.
-
Simon Belmont.
-
Alucard Belmont.
-
They could expand on a Belmont that has only been shown like... once. Juste. Soleiyu. Leon.
They could focus on the most badass Belmont. Simon.
Or they could go with the Belmont that is surrounded by interesting characters. Trevor. Richter. Julius.
If it were up to me, I would HIGHLY consider using Trevor or 1999 Julius.
Making a movie out of Castlevania 3 could be very, very awesome, especially considering some of the developments in the series since that game was made. They could cover something on what made Alucard leave his father's side, or play with the fact that most people thought that Sypha was a guy til the very end by having Trevor mistake her for a guy at first or something... not to mention the added details to the quartet's dynamics in Judgment. Say what you will of the game but there are tons of plot bunnies and lots of potential for drama in a movie that would cover the events in CV3.
-
Trevor, why? simply because he's the most 'real' Belmont that you could put in that sort of movie, the others have had almost no personalities whatsoever or had 'fantasy' like designs. Not that I dislike them but would you see someone in a fancy coat(juste) fight demons and whatnot? Could also just be me trying to stereotype vampire/monster hunters....

This.

Alucard Belmont.
This was a joke, right?
-
Do you even have to ask that?
I am going to lie and say I am serious.
-
Thernz and sweet irony don't mix.

LOL, right on...
You never know on forums...some hold some serious lofty ranks but know very little. I am sorry I doubted.

If you want a Castlevania movie, it has to follow some of the same things that made the Solomon Kain movie so damn good, then apply them to a castlevania character. I find it hard to choose any single Belmont. They were all pretty snazzy despite the lack of character development. Though I have to say, Morris and Eric would both make a good pair of leads who can follow Bram Stoker's Dracula more closely then any other castlevania setting. That alone would be acceptable to mainstream and Castlevania fans.
