Title: Predictions of the Alucardvania (if ever made)
Post by: darkwzrd4 on June 02, 2010, 10:21:13 AM
So what are your predictions of the Alucardvania if it is ever made?  What do you think will happen?  Will it fill any plotholes?

I personally hope that it will go into why the Belmonts can't use the whip until 1999 and who sealed Dracula between that and OoE.  It would also be nice if it told us why Alucard wasn't helping the heros in OoE, Bloodlines, and PoR.

I'm certainely not going to make any crazy predictions like "HD Alucard is going to be the game ever"  or "this game is going to blow because IGA made it".

But what I dare to predict is that this game is finally going to explain what happend to Richter.

In this game Alucard is going to turn evil because the villains want to make him the new big bad. I'm not making this up as I it is slighty touched upon in the radio drama. Not the best plot ever but it might turn out interesting.

If done right, they could explain pretty much everything what is left open for now.
Because Alucard´s a Vampire, the plot could span over diffrent eras, maybe divided in Chapters. Could go from Post-Symphony (tell why the belmonts mustn´t touch the whip like darkwzrd4 said + maybe show how Al sealed Draculas soul before OoE´s events, because, as far as I know, wasn´t he the one who did it? correct me if I´n wrong) until the battle of 1999, showing the uber-showdown we all wanted to see since AoS.

Beeing a vampire sure has it´s good sides...

But yeah, I said IF it´s done right. The whole thing could end with more questions than answers... again =O

Another Iga game? I'd probably vote "Decent" for game play and "Horrible" for story.

It wont surprise me if they take the footage from the trailer and whatever else was made for it and use it for  Harmony of Despair.

Course this game would be a great opportunity for IGA to prove he can do a 3d castlevania game but given his track record Im fairly confident the game would be a let down.

I don't think I can even vote for this since I have yet to try it out. But IGA needs to get out of his own privet little LITTLE world if he's going to have a chance to succeed with this game.
