I just saw this on 1up.com. It's an interview with Michiru Yamane, I guess because of the Music Collection release, I'm actually still reading it right now. Here's the link:

Koji Igarashi, who turned out to be the biggest supporter of the idea. His openness to new directions for the series was a key component of its ongoing success, in my opinion.
Ahh, I miss IGA..
I took to heart Igarashi-san's assurance that even if I left Konami, the door would remain open for me to return to the series in the future as a freelancer. In fact, I'm eager to return.
Nice. I hope she will compose more music for a future CV game!
I have become more aware since leaving Konami after twenty years just how large an audience there is for Castlevania music around the world.
I am sure she was overwhelmed by the meeting with fans from many countries on the concert in Stockholm; we gave long standing ovations and cheered like crazy ;D
