Ok --one last poll and I'll stop for awhile. :-)
-
Cornell Cornell Cornell Cornell Cornell although the black knight was really good too
-
I'm a little split between Satan and Olrox. In the end I chose Satan's battle though. Might've chosen the silver warrior but it was more of a tutorial than a boss fight.
-
I liked fighting against Pan/Silver Warrior, & Satan was a fun battle.
But realistically, no other CV boss will ever beat this

Voting on gameplay quality here; ranking them as a whole would have Carmilla jump a lot higher in the preferences.
Cornell and Orlox are no brainers.
I picked Satan over Pan because it's richer on mechanics (the second wave of circles is brilliant design), even if the Pan fight is probably more spectacular.
-
Cornell for obvious reasons. I picked Pan because the fight is very fast paced after you gain all your majic back and you're constantly dodging those three big slices. I also chose Brauner just because I really liked the level design, fighting in the middle of a snow covered village on fire. It Reminded me of the scene in Bram Stoker's Dracula when Van Helsing's horse is killed and he makes a ring of fire to protect himself and mina from the vampires...probably because of the snow...and the fire...and the vampires :P

You should do a favorite cutscene poll! ;)
-
^ I was hoping you could unlock a cutscene gallery after beating the game, than you could justwatch them all together like a short movie, RE4 style.
-
No of them. Battles were disappointing, long, and never really felt exciting. Nor were any of them very memorable.

Whoever designed that boss was a genius.
-
Giant Merman, Peeping Big. HoD was just had a chockful of brilliantly designed bosses. also i didnt vote because lol
-
In my eyes HoDiss would have been so much better if the bosses actually did something other than move back and forth. But I guess thats what no magic - no dash runs are for ;)
-
I thought the Butcher was actually the most fun, it had personality. From a cool design point of view, the Gravedigger and Silver Knight were nice.
-
No love for the stone titan :(
-
No it was a pain, and the girl added to the irritation, as she did in the previous level. Nice design I guess.

No love for the stone titan :(
I hated that battle. It was almost worse than the Ice Titan...
-
cant believe im the only one who voted stone idol titan, tho there really isnt much skill involved it was cool to watch
-
I voted for Olrox, the evil butcher and the black knight... truly some of the best boss fights in the game.
-
The titan fights sucked. Hard. There should be more to bosses than just looking cool; for example, the huge bosses in Bayonetta are not only highly mobile but actually pose a threat. And I've said it innumerable times before, but fuck shimmying across ledges. I don't know who said that counted as platforming, but they need to be shot.
Most of the other bosses were just regular enemy patterns with a huge health bar and some ways to restore their health, but I particularly enjoyed the mecha-scorpion fight and evil butcher fight, because of their appropriate horror fucked-up-ness.
