Released the Same Day as Tribute vol 1 + 2, I wanna hear it so bad, what do you guys think of it?

I've already heard a majority of these. Honestly, I really don't like the OST at all. Too heavy with the metal to the point where it just gets annoying after a bit. There are a few good tracks on there, but I'm really not crazy about this soundtrack at all.

Same here.
Not only it sounds "samey", but some of the compostions are horribly arranged.
One of the worst Castlevania OSTs I ever heard.

Musically speaking and because I'm a big fan of rock and metal music, I really like HoD's OST (as far as I've heard it). The compositions are quite similar but fit to a (I think) exciting game.
But "Castlevanially"-speaking, the too-much hard rock sound doesn't fit to CV. Okay, the series had a lot of metal/rock tracks (The tragic Prince, Our Festival, CoD's boss tracks, etc.) but a whole OST wouldn't fit a conventional CV game.

Its pretty good for the rock tracks, Don't Wait until night is particularly a Favorite and done splendidly,
some of it has made into youtube, but I hav yet to find a link to download since you can't buy it in the US
-
I really like the After Confession arrangement, but the rest of it I can take or leave.
-
If anyone finds a D/L link since it is neither on iTunes nor shipping to the US, please post that you do so we can PM you for it...

I too like this album, and I am a fan of rock arrangements of CV tracks.
