Bernard Belmont a official of the German police in the 1943 year is sending to a little town in Romania about the many army soldiers that have disappeared or are dead, Bernard dont know about his ancient legacy and discovers from a little girl named Maria that the one responsible for the soldier massacre is a old count in a old and horrible castle...
He looks great! (Sans the white hair :P ) really badass jacketWhat wrong with white hair? Juste had white hair. So does Soma.(though the latter isnt a Belmont)
as I think this "revelation" as I call it, would be the ultimate CV game:
So... We'd have a Nazi Belmont? I mean, if he's an official of the German police in 1943 then he must be. I don't know about you, but I'd never want to see one of the heroes of Castlevania as a Nazi.
That's a good picture though.
Well, i think all your recomendations for PoR plot can not be approved just for one simple reason: rating. Castlevania isn't Wolfenstain, castlevania is for kids, guys. Sad but true.
Almost every IGAVania story has a breat premise but laughable poorly execution. Believe me, some of our ideas are pretty cool, if some good writer saw them and executed the saga would be very intriguing storywise

IGA should never have bothered with the intro-story mentioning the war if he was never going to go all the way with it. The real intro should've been a breaf history on the events that took place before PoR began. It would've been much better and not sound so cheesy as did the other intro.

To get back to the OP (but only slightly) I think a rad kind of side story for a Castlevania game would be The Belmont Legacy. You would start as Leon, and gradually work your way forward through time with a new story and level featuring each of the main Belmonts, culminating with Julius and the 1999 War. I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be rad.
(Although, the game was technically a bit after the war ended, I think.)
PoR takes place in 1944. the war didn't end until 1945.

Ohh yeah. But hadn't Germany surrendered in 1943? (I should probably shut up, I suck at history.)Germany surrendered in 1944. The War ended with Japan's surrender in 1945.
