Taken at Super Potato, a retro games shop in Japan. The circled game (anyone knows what it is?) is selling for around US$663. The price of Castlevania is around $78.

Futurama- Shut up and take my money! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRkLdBw4FxQ#ws)
Nah, not for that thing. But I will buy akumajou dracula.

Dude, why so much. In the states, I picked up CV for NES for about 8 bucks.
-
Interesting how they're selling those games for pretty much the same prices as they would've been sold here during the 80's.

I think that game is Ring Kings. Its been a long time, but I remember playing it on the Nes.
And no, I would not pay a cent over its American price. I don't care if its the best game in the entire world. If its going to cost THAT much, it better come out of my game system and transform in Keyra Augustina or something.

Super Potato is known along with some other gaming shops in Japan for being expensive.
No it's not Ring King, that's boxing, this is either Pro Wrestling or Tecmo Wrestling (I forget it's Japanese name).

I think I bought US Castlevania for about 20 bucks with box and instructions. So no no no. Most I've paid for a game is around 125 which was for Panzer Dragoon Saga. But I sold my other copy for 175, so I wasn't too mad.
-
The shopkeeper explained that they're expensive because they're rare. I guess this stuff is more for collectors.

I got my copy of CV1 for about $15. So no, I would never pay that much.
