Title: Super Mario Advance 4 NEVER FINISHED!
Post by: A vicar in a tutu on November 10, 2007, 02:18:28 AM
So I don't know if I had talked about it before in the old forums but it's been 4 years since SMA4 was released along with the e-Cards that contained levels and items and stuff.
So with the first 2 series you could unlock new levels in the e-World, but we never saw anything more after that.
The Castle in the e-world was left empty, with a few coins to furnish it but with more floors left unexplored.
Was there any reason for the project being dropped?
Or can one real GOOD hacker mess with the game and unlock the missing levels or CAN ANYTHING BE DONE?
This extra world would've been rather interesting.

I'm not sure but I think the other series of cards were only released in Japan.

Yeah I think the card thing was pretty much a flop here, what turned me off was that I had just gotten a brand new gameboy advance SP and the cardreader only worked with the first model , the whole card thing was just handled so poorly there was like no marketing and most people who saw them didn't know what the cards were. They should have made an SP e-reader too, that was a big mistake, the SP had been out for like 2 years when Mario 3 came out.

At the time I didn't want to buy an E-reader just for a little tiny bit of extra content. Good thing I didn't, would have been a waste.
