Title: House of the Dead 2 & 3 Coming to Wii (Rythme, lulz)

So, is it cool that we finally get a compilation of some of the most intense light gun action of arcade lore, or is this simply Sega taking advantage of the Wii's point-and-click nature?
...all I can say is that that Zapper is looking pretty nicely right now...

I heard the zapper doesn't click when you pull the trigger which is a let down, but I hope they make the games. The wii is finally getting games.

I hope they keep the mission mode in from the Dreamcast version of 2.

I hope they update the graphics and they're not just straight ports, the graphics are way outdated now.

Ha. Ha ha. HA HA HA HA!

Oh that was funny. I've never seen such hope wasted.

Anyway...i've beaten HotD 3 already (super saiyan mofo...he ate my quarters) but i've wanted to play the second game for the longest. so i might get it.

HOTD would freaking rock on the Wii! I'd sink some cash into this compilation for sure. Now we need Time Crisis, Jurassic Park Arcade and Virtua Cop.

Yeah it's probably not gonna happen, and we'll be stuck with the crappy n64 looking graphics. Hopefully they'll at least polish the graphics a bit more.

I have HOTD2 for the DC, but never really played it, being controller and all (I didn't buy a gun when I had the chance).

But TYPING of the Dead, that's super fun. I beat HOTD2 that way.

I just got Ghost Squad on Wii today, and, if anything, it's even more accurate than in the arcade. I've been playing with the cursor off and doing just fine. Bring on the light gun games!

I can only hope that Konami will follow suit and release a souped-up version of Evil Night for the Wii, with the ability to also play the original, which is an infinitely greater game than any of the HOTDs, but that's only a silly dream that'll likely never be realized.
