Title: Crisis has one of the biggest collections of all time!! (56k warning)

So after several requests/death threats/offers, I've finally managed to take a few pictures of most of my Castlevania shit. It wasn't easy; I had to move various furniture around & the lighting actually interferes with the quality of the images but there was nothing I can do about that. I had to take everything 1 by 1 & meticulously place it besides other things. I also had to walk several flights of stairs numerous times without dropping anything. But alas, I've accomplished what I had set out to do. Mixed in are some unofficial/unique items that I thought complimented the collection nicely. Once again sorry for the bad quality of the images, if you'd like to see something more clearer just ask & i'll take a better picture of it. Any questions just ask.

.. and that's it! Mind you I'm still waiting on several more stuff to come in from Japan, so I'll update once it all comes in.

To those that are just starting to collect: be optimistic! Back in 2000 I said to myself "I will NEVER own a Tiger Handheld Symphony, or a sealed copy of Rondo, or any other rare item." As you can see, now I own almost everything, so don't give up hope!

But if anyone decides they don't have the patience to wait for stuff to pop up on ebay, I've decided to list this collection at an exclusive Buy-It-Now price at $4,999.99!! (note: cash only, no checks)


edit: just realized there's a sticky "castlevania collection" topic in fan stuff that I have overlooked :o  I hope Jorge finds it in his heart to forgive memy collection deserves its own thread anyway xD

That's insane. That puts mine, and really any other to shame! Amazing though. How do you find all that stuff?

also, is there anything you don't have? The only thing I didn't see and maybe I missed it since there's so much, but do you have a boxed US copy of Legends? I don't think i saw one

Hey, I recognize that Kid Dracula plush.

It's always great to see your collection because it's one of the few that's bigger than my own.  Although, seeing the items you outbid me on still stings.  :'(

I don't have the US Legends, not because it's rare but because it's ridiculously overpriced all the time. I have the Japanese version & American cart itself tho, so I'm not terribly worried about buying the US box unless I see it for cheap. US Legacy of Darkness has also eluded me, and US Kid Dracula, and the Lament of Innocence special edition (not the black box version, the PAL i think). and the LoS Japanese limited edition.

It's not all sealed, I take it out & play frisbee with this stuff all the time, then put it back in the plastic/bubble wrap.


I could've had another AoS artbook (SIGNED, no less!), but I let that one slip through the cracks.. it still bothers me to this day >_<

Unfortunately you'll never find a US kid Dracula for the NES due to it never being ported overseas. The Gameboy one on the other hand is more likely.

Hi, i'm pretty new to this forum, to be honest, i'm lurking around for some time here, but cause of my bad english i always hesitated to join the crew.But now there is something that  has made change my mind.
I'm a fine collector too, and after that i've seen some cool collections as these, i have decided to register.Mine collection  is impressive too, and i think i'll send some pics somedays,but i need to get a decent camera before. See ya around here  ;D

Some updates:
+ just received some new posters (CotM, Bloodlines), and the Lords of Shadow promo edition (the copy reviewers receive for reviewing), and the Akumajo Dracula tribute CDs.. and another LoS poster. Still waiting on some other stuff, though. Pics coming soon!

Quite a big collection, that's true. Congratulations. Only few people can afford such crazy expenses to get rare things, though. And it's definitely too SOTN-oriented. I guess you're another one of these Alucard hardcore lovers.

I've got a suggestion for you : to separate official / unofficial and fan-made stuff.
Would be better for the eyes ;)

I just have too many Symphony handhelds. I'll throw some out if it'll make you guys feel better, though..

Alucard makes my pants tight.  He's very sweet with a beautiful face, and it's hard not to dream about him at night. He is an icon and very sexy , I'm starting to blush ~_~


+ Just received another sealed Simon's Quest handheld, and several more phonecards are added. Also, PAL Vampire's Kiss. Guess I should take pictures to "prove" it huh

As far as physical collection all I've got all of the US versions, some japanese (like rondo, notm), a rondo guide in japanese, a couple cds, figures, handhelds, novel (txt and graphic), and a few preorder stuff.  I feel totally dwarfed now lol, good job! :)

I intend to have the largest database of game related content that is playable, but i'm still working on that.

Oh my gods, this collection is spectacular.

I feel so small now.

I've started collecting about a year ago, and I have all of the US versions but three (LoD, Belmont's Revenge and Dracula X), 3 of the NECA figures, Simon Belmont keychain, Trevor Belmont 8-bit keychain, vampire cross pendant, canvas print of Alucard's knight portrait, Portrait of Ruin soundtrack, Ultimate Judge guidebook, Order of Ecclesia bag, 4 t-shirts, magazine ads starting with Circle of the Moon and going through Judgment, and magazines...

...but this makes my whole collection look like a dust bunny! How much dough did you sink into this? That's QUITE a lot of stuff. I love this, for you it's very clear that Castlevania is a labor of love, and this is the best collection I've seen thus far!

well, what did you have in mind? should i just give all my stuff away, or would you guys rather see me burn it all on a spectacular youtube video? Honestly i don't think anyone here would care for this stuff, sometimes i wonder why i spent so much money on it

but i think the youtube video would be a lot more entertaining to the masses :]  i'm going on vacay in a week so i'll have time to think about it...

A video could be cool and funny (and horrible lol). But giving a part of this stuff to other CV fans would be a great thing too.

That's like burning thousands of dollars in a bonfire, if you think about it.

How's this proposal? Give me all the rare stuff and you keep the common stuff you can find anywhere and burn that, and make it look like you're burning the real thing so Konami gets mad. XD

Honest to God. I seriously didn't think you were going to do that. I LOVE my CV stuff, though I only have a moderate amount.

What is your primary motive for doing this, if you don't mind me asking? EDIT: answered, thanks Flame.

A THIRD EDIT: Crisis, if you are seriously contemplating giving the stuff away, I posted that I'd talk to my parents about it, but then posted a refusal because I didn't think they'd approve. And THEN I talked to my dad, who gave me the okay. Only if you ARE giving the stuff away though. It's your choice 100%, do not feel obligated to anything - you can do the bonfire if you so will it. All this hubbub about shipping and permission and whatever is necessary to inform you of, for I am still a minor, and if I made any arrangements without their knowledge...chaos would ensue.
 
Sad thing is, if you do burn this stuff, will Konami care? Do what you will, but these are very valuable items that many people (most, including myself) in the CV community would kill for, and it's sad to see them go. Can't force you to keep it though.

If you do make a YouTube video though, I will get the word out amongst my peers.

god, i so wish neca made some extra castlevania figures... i only have simon belmont and dracula (never cared much for alucard and neca alucard isn't that good and SOTN succubus was a little too random) but they are pretty good for their price :O... i would love a second batch including death, trevor belmont, shanoa and uhmmm... carrie fernandez? (like that would happen XD) :O.

oh.. and i see something resembling some kind of book with ecclessia artwork.. is that an officia guide, or it's an artbook or something? i crave for all the ecclesia artwork bad D:

now... after much contemplation I decided to not burn my collection after all. I believe there's still light at the end of the tunnel as far as the future of the series is concerned, and I realize a lot of you (everyone) will go batshit crazy to see this stuff be reduced to ashes. however it still is a tantalizing idea heheh.. and i'll try my best to keep to my word & perhaps maybe even release some stuff back into the wild =i just don't knowwww

Actually, I already have. I've set up my CV collection in almost every room in the house and once displayed all my memorabilia in a three-tier display that's taller than I was (but I was worried about stability, so I switched it back to a table and a box.) It came with the L.E. It's a shame Konami didn't release it in America (along with the excellent transluscent poster & soundtrack). But we did get that PoR preorder bonus materials that Japan didn't get(to my knowledge), to make things "fair" i guess. Thought it was kinda odd how it uses the American Castlevania logo instead of the Akumajo Dracula kanji.
Fun Fact: There are actually 2 versions of the notebook; a leatherbound and a hardbound.. must get the hardbound version one day..

You can get wallscrolls from Amazon for an okay price, licensed and unlicensed. I'm still looking for posters, though. The few official ones I've seen on ebay are listed for ridiculous amounts.

oh geez, haven't updated this in a long time.
I've been slacking off on my collection lately, I scroll through the various auctions on different sites & just yawn at mostly everything I see, even the rare, or what most people consider rare, items. i feel like i've almost reached a plateau in my collection; i've been lucky enough to acquire a lot of amazing items over the years that i never thought i'd own. something has to really catch my eye for me to purchase it nowadays. as it stands all my cv stuff is tucked away safely in my closet, only rarely seeing the light of day. i've been considering making a longass youtube video showing off & cataloguing each item.. maybe this Winter sometime. then there's the inevitable selling off & releasing all my stuff back into the wild, i can't say when that will happen but it will, eventually. such is the fate of mortals.. I'm sure some dark force was behind Maria's transformation, but that doesn't matter now..

anyway, i'm still missing several Phone Cards here n there, so when i saw these for relatively cheap i thought, ehh why not! in the near future i plan on acquiring some rather unique items that shall be revealed soon so stay tuned for that. just gotta do some politics & budget concerns lol
