So with PSP games getting a HD remix, do you guys hope a HD version of Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles gets a re- release on ps3?
I would like to see one, as trying to play the game on my tv thru the psp , isnt exactly how i thought it would look.
So thoughts? Opinions?

very interesting. i've think i've bought symphony of the night and rondo of blood enough times already lately. but i'd probably buy it again to play sotn Maria on the big screen. if they wanted to be really nice, they'd let you play sotn and maria immediately without having to unlock them from the game and beat symphony once. just so we don't have to do it all over again.
heck, if they wanted to remix symphony a little more, they could let you unlock and play all the Harmony of Despair characters on it =)

I don't know. I already own both Rondo and Symphony. I also already own the PSP compilation.

I wouldn't mind, as long as it has the name Castlevania on it and it plays like Castlevania and not some kind of clone from other games.... :P

FINALLY!!! This is exactly what the PSP library needed --so many great games were disadvantaged *because* they came out on PSP instead of DS or one of the consoles. Dracula X Chronicles should have always been a console release! If Megaman Powered Up comes out on PS3, I'm gonna very very happy! :-D

If they were to vastle improove the polygon count and graphics of the Rondo remake then I would definitely look into it. And if it's on a console then the blur effect in SotN should be gone too.

I think it'd be pretty useless. Give us new games or REAL remakes.

Im really surprised they didn't do this sooner but Im happy they are. I would love if DXC came to the PS3. My psp doesn't work to well anymore so this will be a great addition to the ps3

Dude, DXC is awesome! The only things that could really improve it would be Richter's SotN skillset and tweaking child Maria's questionable fashion sense. Although ditching Richter's pimp-walk would really piss off the purists...

I'd be for it. Sad PSP doesn't actually have a LARGE number of CV games to choose from. When you mention "PSP CV game", it's pretty much JUST DXC. But yeah, total HD, better 3D graphics in a 2D side scroller? Sign me up!

I'd consider DXC a real remake.
I dislike these rereleases though... how many times do I really need to own a game?

^^^ Sadly, it's a sign of the times. I remember when people would rag on the 80s for being too commercial. "Oh, every cartoon is trying to sell toys!!". Nowadays, the milking that goes on makes the 1980s commericalism seem TAME as hell! I think the motto nowadays is, "When in doubt, remake, remake, and then remake again, and then, for good measure, add another pinch of REMAKE!!".

Yeah i was just trying to keep the heading short that's all.
I know with the releases of Rondo on psp and Wii, that it maybe over done now.
I was just wondering on what the CV community would think if konami decided to release the title, apart of the newly re done psp to ps3 range.

I would certainly get it, if it was released..... just due to the psp tv out not being what i hoped it would.
But like someone else replied, i don't think it will get released.
I'm still hoping for a anniversary collection.

WHERE WILL IT END?? Funny enough the last three were all released in the last 2 years (pending 3D, but it's coming soon this year I believe).
