I never seen this red collection "book" bevor...
NES Classics Collection (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exthQA-c_Zs#)
Any idea where u can get it from? Ebay was a fail...
-
thats awesome. Looks pretty legit too. Never seen it before tho
-
I wanna know where and how I can buy this.
-
As always eBay is your best bet. That might take a while to show up though.

ClubNintendo, I think, started doing that, but it might've been in Europe. I know in Japan they ALWAYS do this sort of thing but those look like USA versions, so it's either European or (very rare) USA stuff.
-
I'm surprised they did have the squeals to those games in there. They could've stuck Zelda's I & II on the same cart as well as Super Mario Bros I, II, III, Lost Levels and Mario Bros all on one cart. And for Donky Kong they could have out in all three of the games onto the same cart. Then it would be an even better collection.

Looks pretty awesome. From the teeny bit I watched of the video, the back of the Super Mario Bros. box has a German flag. I don't know if Germany has their own specific Club Nintendo, or if it's a general European club and it was just manufactured in Germany, or what.
We in the US get shafted with this Club Nintendo bidniz. Japan and Europe seem to always be getting cool shit, while we get pins and school folders.

Was i imagining things or did they not have CV in that set?

You ain't imagining things. They're missing a big classic in there.
-
I don't think the ever ported Contra over to the GBA either :P Yeah Castlevania is out, but it is a shame it's not part of the "official" collection. Unless this collection is for Nintendo company-made games only.
-
Well, Castlevania was ported to GBA under the Classic NES series, but it doesn't appear to be in here.
And also, isn't Bomberman a Hudson game? Cuz that's in there.
-
Hudson software was bought out I believe. Not sure who was responsible.

To answer some Questions
The red collection book at the youtube video is an european relase. It also came out for Japan. Famicom Classics.
To the European Release. This is the only one. The famicom Classic collection in Japan got 3 "Books". Red, White and Yellow and there is every classic one in there. (like CV ;) )
I dont know why the only made the red edition here... :/
And yes, it was a present for some members for nintendo club. I also found someone selling the red one Japanese version --> 300€ (like 350$) that is too much meanwhile to handle for me... ^^°
