I am mostly looking for what the sample rates are that would be below the low standard of 8000 hz. Or if anyone just knows what the sample rates are supposed to be for certain sounds that would be very helpful as well.I am basically pulling them out of the PSX ISO using the newest version of psound.

The tech specs for the PSX I found say that the audio uses a sample rate of 44.1 khz. I haven't found any documentation stating that the sound effects use a different sample rate than the music.

I wish it was that simple inccubus; but they use all kinds of rates, including some non standard ones. I am having to spend quite a bit of time sometimes figuring out which rate they use, and some times to get the sound effect right they repeat it several times to create an echoing effect.

Not that I know of; they have ripped one or two sounds but not all. It would be handy if someone had done it already. I could also use sounds from some other castlevania games like POR, OOE, and DOS. The DXC voices, and any from Harmony of Depair ones would be handy too.

You know. I was just thinking about it, and I remember a long time ago I had a large chunk of the sounds from SotN. But I can't remember how I came to have them in my possession. I'm gonna do some digging and see what I can come up with.
