Title: Another LoS speculation from yours truly *SPOILERS*
Post by: jestercolony on July 29, 2011, 11:30:33 AM
So I just took notice something from my theory posted earlier (surprised I didn't get a whole bunch of replies as I original had anticipated.)  So I am going to do a short short version.

Now, if any of you out there has seen based horror films, studied lore on creatures and know how certain fiction and fantasy magic based elements work as well as the typical CV lore: then you will have no issue understanding this. If not I suggest doing some serious heavy reading, making a brush up with old horror monster films...etc.

I assumed he became full blown "Dracula" when he absorbed TFO's power and mercilessly killed him. He was turning the entire stage, (his random spasms of pain) and by then, that was just the finalization.

That is an excellent observation right there. The spasm and the pain would be virus seeping through his veins, but notice how he would always somewhat clench at his gauntlet. Which makes another observation - as to his 'pains' could be due to the TFO as it only happened when he was near him. I will have to double check again later (: Currently replaying through it again to make sure I am not taking anything overly drastic.

Great theory, I haven't had the pleasure of playing all the CV games but I really loved the story in this one. So it's cool to see different theories on what happened exactly.

The gantlet may have a kind of importance as Gabriel uses it a LOT against TFO (stripping his armor and crushing various parts of his body).
