Hi! This is kind of driving us nuts so it'd be cool if the fans could help us. We've got this Castlevania scroll in our store and we can't for the life of us figure out who it is. We've asked customers, resident Castlevania nerds, I've even asked some of my own friends in the industry and they can't figure it out.

It definitely looks like it was drawn by Ayami Kojima.
But that does not automatically make it Castlevania related.
I actually have no idea who that could be.

He's not any character from the Castlevania series.
It's just Ayami Kojima showing off her mad skillz

Yeah, Ayami Kojima has drawn plenty of stuff in this style. May I ask where you work? I've seen this drawing many times but I've never seen it as a scroll like that. Cool!

Okay, so it's not Castlevania. That explains a lot.  :P Thanks guys. It's a really beautiful scroll. We thought it a shame that it was the only scroll we didn't have a story about. Maybe some digging will reveal more about its purpose (if any).

I work in a little nerd shop near Austin, TX in Lakeline Mall called Gamerz. If you're ever in town you could totally stop by! We have tooooons of scrolls. This one we actually get regularly.

I found it on page 114 in Kojima's art book and it lists the title as 'Phantasmagoria'. That doesn't really explain anything though....
