Normally I would post anything to do with the "hack" under the fan projects section. But seeing as how the majority of members here don't seem to visit there, I for once decided to post it in here. Since I know we have a few Japanese speaking members, as well as 1 or 2 that go to the anti chapel forums. ;D
I am looking for 2 serious volunteers to do the following please:
1)I need a volunteer to work with japanese voice clips from SOTN. This volunteer will need to:
- Be able to understand both japanese and english; this will be necessary for the 2nd and 3rd tasks
- Be willing to match up the Japanese dialogue with the american text: I know what clips go where, but the text speed would have to be programmed to match the speech like in SOTN. So in other words the text types out with it's equivalent dialogue. This is very easy to do, but somewhat time consuming. The volunteer would be provided everything that he/she needs. They would then just run the program, and note at what point on the display timer for the sound each bit of text should be typed out at, sentence by sentence (word by word would take too long, IMHO).
- Lastly, there will be a few sound clips from judgement (maybe 10) that I will need matched with their English equivalent. The same for the PSP version (maybe about 5 here).
2)A volunteer to post a quick update under the fan works section on the anti chapel forum whenever I make an update about the hack. To be blunt, I got banned because Alis decided to throw one of her crybaby hissy fits, and I will not be going back. :rollseyes: But I would still like the people over there who have some interest in the hack to have access to when it is updated like everyone here does. The volunteer would need to be:
- Someone who logs on here at least 3-4 times a week, and is willing to visit there too.
- I would simply send this volunteer a U2U with the update info, which you could merely paste in over there under a thread designed for updates to the hack. Nice, quick, and easy.
Anyone who is interested in either of the above, please U2U me. If I get volunteers for both requests and fill them, I will notify everyone here ASAP. Thanks. 8)

Have you tried asking at the ROMhacking.net translation forum? Those dudes seem pretty good at translating stuff and they seem to have an almost fetishistic enjoyment of it too.

I considered trying that, but so far just about NO ONE there who has offered to assist me has actually produced anything. They just keep making excuses, so I would prefer not to do so again. 8)

Nobody ever said I didn't like you, your site, or your forums. I in fact, said the opposite more than once about both of the latter (a post which your mod deleted), and as for the former, well I don't personally know you at all. :rollseyes: Though I have given you my opinion on how you made your moves, which I do not intend to keep repeating; it's redundant. But your mod apparently didn't like that, so here we are. Boo freakin hoo.
.................but feel free to call it a plug if you want. Bottom line is, there are a few people who requested that I post updates on your forums too like I do here, so I was going to do so. Plain and simple. But since I cannot, someone else will have to do it. Or those people will just be out of luck; no big deal. 8)

Soooo....rather than putting aside grudges for the sake of the project you are trying to promote, and asking Successor if there's a way you could become reinstated at The Chapel for a temporary period of time to enlist some help and gain some more traffic for SotN Hacked, you're remaining indifferent and trying to get someone else to do it instead?
I'm not trying to tell you how to operate your own thing here. I'm just saying that maybe for the sake of what you're doing, you may want to try setting aside pride and ask for another chance. I'm sure Successor will take your position into consideration if you ask, right Successor? We're all not beyond setting aside drama if its to help promote a Castlevania project that's good for the whole community.

That's quite alright. I really didn't care about your opinion the first time. You didn't get kicked out for voicing your opinion, anyway. At least not in and of itself. You got kicked out because you kept ranting on about some crap while also knowingly acting like an ass, when you were told to stop. We don't tolerate that type of stuff. You may be able to come into our place and act obnoxiously for a short time, but when you don't stop when we tell you to, you're done.
I'm sure Successor will take your position into consideration if you ask, right Successor? We're all not beyond setting aside drama if its to help promote a Castlevania project that's good for the whole community.
It's not likely to happen. The dude is way too proud, and not in a good way, which makes him very liable to cause some kind of ruckus in the future. This topic right here is somewhat in poor taste itself.

Wow, now isn't that the pot calling the kettle black! Red accusing me of poor taste and of being too proud for nothing. :o All while accusing me of basically stirring up trash, yet coming into someone else's forum and doing what I am SUPPOSEDLY guilty of. The irony of it is enough to give me a stroke. ;)
Anyway, on that note, as I said to your mod this is PROBABLY not something you should be discussing with me thru a post on the forums, when we both have U2U's. If you want to write me anymore, I recommend you use it. I am NOT trying to piss off Jorge, by putting trash like this up in his forum!And I'm not about to continue derailing this thread.
Feel free to have the "last word" if you want. I don't care.
BACK ON TOPIC: I now have a volunteer to handle posting on the anti-chapel in my absence. But if anyone else wants to do it too, feel free to write me. It always helps to have a back up. :D
