Title: Has anyone ever tried using the Bad Translator?
Post by: VladCT on October 11, 2011, 11:04:12 PM
http://www.ackuna.com/badtranslator (http://www.ackuna.com/badtranslator)
It translates whatever you want back and forth using the horribly literal online translators (only Google and Bing are available for now) up to 56 times, often resulting in a hilarious mess of a translation.
For example, for the original text we have "What a horrible night to have a curse."
(click to show/hide)
So yeah, care to try?

That's quite interesting.

Original text:

"fuck you, I'm in charge"
...30 translations later Google gives us:
"Oh, I was responsible for"

"such a mess inside my head"
...20 translations later Google gives us:
"Chaos at the top of"
...30 translations later Google gives us:
"It is a big problem."

I tried, "The boiling onions make my pancreas happy, Grandma!"

And it came out as, "Cook in the pancreas of luck!"

So I guess it actually came out less weird. Sort of. High five?

I figured, why not post a string of words for translation? Which were:

horse fuck lick anal geyser pounding grand daddy jock itch lick

And I got:

I am anal licking Leakokk source elekted the President of the United States is limited eczema.

Yup.

So I tried inputting the Japanese name of Divine Bloodlines (which is Blood Relations of Heaven and Earth) in English, and guess what I got? Gardens. Yeah, to quote the site's tagline, it's that bad.

56 Translations.  You can probably guess what I originally used, using this result as a clue (maybe):

"Complains about a bad day."
and
"Dinner is huge in the morning."
