Question:
Has Anyone got this damn thing to at least quit Crashing?
I've tried full patching, plus two mods that are fixes, and instead of Blue screens I get freezes.

I've never had a problem with F3... but that's probably cos I waited to get the GOTY edition. That's never done anything terribly bad to me yet, apart from a few odd crashes.

what version of Windows do you run?

it still crashes some but no where NEAR as bad as oblivion... BethSoft is horrible with engines. I hope Skyrim is better now that they have iD to help em. I had some crashes in FO3 but hardly none in FONV

I have XP Pro.

for windows 7, I think I got it since there are no crashes when I expect them.
There are a few Steps
Step 1 Compatability mode
Set Fallout 3 to Run as Administrator AND Put in Vista Compatability
Step 2 Modding the FALLOUT.ini

(the second line is to add the value)
Step 3, Get the error Fix mod
Get FOMM
Get the Error Fix mod
Enjoy, it took a catastrophic crash and fresh install of windows 7, but I finally got it done.

Turns out it was all around a Bad "The Pitt" DLC (which I really don't care much for since it's sooo short)
Modding makes this game 1000% times better, and this game is already a 11/10 in my book.
I can recommend mods, but most of them are already on the top 100 on Fallout 3 Nexus.
Speaking of modding.... I'm gonna look for some castlevania mods for oblivion.
