If anyone is interested, I found a cool game which I believe was just released.  It's a Halloween themed game that borrows a lot from the style of CV, mainly the original Game Boy CVs. It uses some CV sprites and CV midi music...it even has the theme from the Michael Myers movie. :o

Looks interesting. I'll give it a shot later on.

Rest in peace, GB. I should have never let you play near the kitchen sink. You will be missed dearly...  :'(

Edit:
Okay, I just played this. I will say this. It's somewhat difficult at times. I played through the first level twice and died easily. Zombies are tough. The other enemies in the first level are simple but zombies keep raping me. Jumping handles fairly well. Over all, I was very impressed.

Then I found the bugs and I wasn't even bug testing at that point. The image_xscale bug reared its ugly head while I was playing. I landed on a ledge that was adjacent to a wall and changed directions, which clearly resulted in image_xscale being negated and the next thing I know I'm standing in mid air (because one pixel behind me is a wall which my bounding box was apparently stuck inside). But aside from that bug, nothing glaringly bad stood out on my first run. I'll keep it and play it some more later. It's very old-school. :D
