I remember my first experience playing Super Mario Land 2 was on a big screen Gameboy like that if memory serves correctly. Before anyone asks, no it wasn't a "Super Gameboy" set up in a SNES system (which I bought 2 or 3 years later which was pretty cool). It just actually looked like that thing in the photo which is kinda hard to forget :o
