It seems like a great game, very well done by BonusJX, and even supports two players simultaneously, but the demo always crashes for me after the first level. Supposedly it goes on much farther than that, if anyone's had any luck getting that to happen, I'd be interested in knowing how.

Is that the one with the Belmont in red that has the rifle? I'm not sure, though I do recall playing a BoR-based CV game... not 'til the end, though.

No this one is has Richter and Alucard, although there were some other characters being added in that weren't finished. There's pretty decent YouTube videos of it, but no one seems to have heard from BonusJZ for a long time.
Anywho, thanks for the welcome. I'm a long time Castlevania fan, and I've been visiting the Dungeon for years.

Yeah i do remember playing it as i've played alot of unfinished fan games. It is really good,well done. Controls are sorta wishy washy though maybe it's open BOR that has issues. It seems like alot of fan developers have issues with it. Well yeah i think it's maybe like 3 levels or something that i recall and yeah i think you meet drac but dont' beat him and he just goes away or soemthing and you beat the game if i recall correclty. If you do fight him he's mad easy. I remember beating the game and scratching my head going hmmm shouldn't their be more levels. Well either way it's a very good small handfull of level game and probably the first of it's kind that's 2 players. Yeah i didn't mind it!

Any game that takes enemies AND stages from the ghoul n' ghosts, demon's crest, and gods knows what other non-castlevania series, and tries to pass them off like they instantly fit in automatically fails in my book. Sorry but I see people doing it too much, and it just looks god awful. They really need to instead focus on the several THOUSAND enemies we already have for the Castlevania series and use them instead. It's one things to use effects, or even projectile edits that are not obviously noticeable, but whole enemies and stages from other games is just lousy.
On that note,2 stages are direct rip offs from the 2 series I just mentioned. And they are missing almost ALL of the things that made those stages originally at least half interesting. This guy obviously did a quick lazy job, and put in minimal effort into his own creation. Sadly I see this a lot, and it's truly a shame. :(
As for two player; it's not that hard to do honestly in a basic game like this.
Also complete fail on using darkstalkers intro directly ripped off too.

My game still contains some Demon's Crest backgrounds. Shame on my white head! :)

Ive been wondering, using the OpenBOR emulator on the wii, is thie game playable through that?
