If any of you have purchased either one, can you give me your impressions of the games?
I'm kind of on the fence about buying them, seeing as I have some iTunes gift cards burning holes in my pockets.

I have both. Theyre pretty cool "dungeon crawler" kinda games. You cant really explore much (theres more options in the 2nd one) cause your on rails basically. You can look around freely within fixed bounds per area and find money bags that you cant see any other ways. Same goes for cut scenes
Its got a neat xp/lvl system. You gain xp by killin stuff like usual but you get bonus xp based on how well you do (way more indepth in the 2nd one) you gain lvls like any other rpg and get a few points to up your stats. Each item you have equipped has its own xp that goes up after every fight its equipped
Once the items xp is maxed youve "mastered" it and its basically useless (as far as lvling up goes). Mastering items gives you another skill point so mastering every item lets you advance your char more
Dying means nothing. Your basically "reborn" as another generation of the same hero when you die. That hero failed your new game is the next successor in the line so on and so forth. You keep everything from game to game so basically you use that to get stronger and get further
Thats about it. Aside from the astoundingly good graphics for a mobile game its really just a fun grindy rpg kinda game. Combat is cool cause you can do lots of combos (again way more in the 2nd one) and theres special attacks sometimes you can tap a special spot on the screen to stop the attack and stun the enemy lettin ya wail on em for free for a bit
All in all really good games. Easy to pick up and play at any time lots of content and high replayability. Theyre big battery drainers tho lol
