Does anyone know if this art was supposed to belong to any game but remained unreleased? maybe CoD?

My info's probably wrong, but from what I've heard, this was an early Kojima design for Symphony of the Night Alucard.
-
If I'm not mistaken its a prototype sketch for SotN.

That should be Cv3 era Alucard, that is a badass looking Alucard
-
That sketch was included in an art book of Ayami Kojima's work.

Hell of a "Sketch!"
I tend to call works that don't have backgrounds sketches... not sure why. Just a weird habit of mine.

Needs officialness status upgrade.

To me it looks like Alucard isn't wearing any pants behind those tall boots and longcoat... That's just so wrong on so many levels :P I'm glade the Alucard in SotN was the final decision.

His boots actually look alike the ones in the official:

Yeah, I love that she added the lapels on the boots, makes him even more aristocratic.
-
Pretty sure he's just wearing white types in the concept art.
But yeah, Kojima's artbooks tend to showcase her CV concept art.

Prototype sketches for Simon.

Juste with reddish hair.
I totally dig her blonde-haired Simon. I can only speculate, but i imagine she was told to go with a more radical design to differentiate between the original X68k sprite and an Arranged version.
