I've seen it 2 times in japan sites. I bought it a few years ago(for a much better price) but traded it for another (very rare)promo item.
Just so you know my collecting friends, don't give too much if interesting.

Pssssssh get the hell outta here.
-
Wrong comma, should have been 12.9$.
-
yeah agree. I mean, ok if it was original art hand painted by Ayami Kojima herself, but this..
-
The frame is the only thing that looks valuable in that item, not many people have that kind of money to spend on collectibles anyway. I can't believe this
-
12,999.95!!!!
BWA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
-
The lithograph was beautifully displayed in the front entrance of my home. Guests would be astonished on how beautiful and unique the lithograph is.
This is quite possibly the funniest thing I've read.
-
So what do you think this is actually worth? We already know it's not one-of-kind.
-
Counting the frame? I say it's worth 70 bucks or so.
Mostly because that's a REALLY nice frame.
-
The fact is, the seller knows he can't get 10% of the price for it, but people will talk about it. He wins.
-
the biggest problem(but the price lol) is that it doesen't seem to be konami licensed nor does it have the castlevania logo. It is a Famitsu price. To my knowledge that is a japanese magazine, not related to to Konami..
-
Then the only thing this item has going for it, is that it was signed by Kojima. Though I believe they are plenty pieces of her artwork that also have that.
So it seems like this auction is a big scam, lol.
-
I have a Tenchi Muyo manga signed by the director of the Tenchi Muyo anime. Totally unrelated (he didn't make the manga) and it's probably still worthless.
Point of this anecdote is all you have to do is go to a convention and be patient. Signatures aren't hard to get.

+1'd for truth. I have a poster of the cast of Dragonball Z signed by the complete main English cast locked away somewhere. That cost me $75 for convention admission, $12 for the poster, and 6 total hours of waiting in various lines
And even with those signatures, the poster wouldn't be worth $87 if I tried to sell it.
I'd be lucky to get the customer to pay $15, including shipping, for that sort of thing.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that... yeah. I agree with y'all. Auction's a rip-off.

I'm gonna call fake on this one, no way a Japanese person's signature is gonna be in english
-
Keiji Inafune's Signature looks english-ish. i cant really tell because its just like, a few squiggles that seem to be trying to say "Keiji" or something.
-
Highest offer so far was 8000 but it was declined, lol.
-
whaat. I made this topic to enlighten people, poor buyers if they aren't awared of the famitsu affiliation=(

Not true, especially for anime and game artists. As Flame mentioned, Keiji Inafune signs in English as well.
What DOES bother me is that it seems to be 'signed' twice for whatever reason.

Correct. In addition, Ayami Kojima signs in english often, here's an example of a 100% original signed cardboard art.

However I am quesitoning the autograph on the sotn frame since it is entierly different from this..

Well, if you do look though the general shaping of the letters seems similar. Thing is, how much would her signature have changed in 6 years? Or did she just take great care in 1997, and less care in 2003?
Note the curvature and shapes on the 'A', and 'K' and the 'ma'. The way the 'y' smaller arm crosses over. They do look awfully similar, despite one being very extended.

Right. Because English isn't a required course in many schools and the Japanese never use romanji.
+ what everyone already said.
