Dude went overboard by punching the kid, but I understand how he felt. (I do not condone violence against kids, it's wrong.)

Movie Theaters need Adults only showing times, and kids shouldn't be allowed in at all, teenager or not.

I think we've all been in that situation where you just want to punch some people in a theater, usually pre-teens always being sure to text and random intervals so that you're always distracted by their cell phone screens.

Don't know if any of you are familiar with Mark Kermode. He's a British film critic, long time advocate of The Exorcist as being one of the greatest films ever made, and stickler for proper cinema conduct. He is so frustrated about audience conduct that he desgined this poster for every cinema to put on their viewing screen doors.

Just another reason to skip the theater and rent when it comes to video. Reminds me of when I went to see Return of the King in the theater. There were these preppy girls talking for about the first 20 minutes and I said just loud enough "I wish those dumb blondes would SHUT UP." man, they looked all around to try and find who said it. They then left the room and I saw them with their boyfriends looking around when everyone exited the theater lol. Everyone else there seemed pretty happy to see them leave.
Punching was too far though. Someone doing all that I would have complained to theater staff and demanded my money back. If the theater didn't do anything about it I would never go their again and warn everyone else about going there.

Walk around and kick the backs of their chairs HARD. Incite them to violence. Then when the cops show up, say, "How could I kick the backs of their seats? I was in row 4!" Or wait until they leave the theater, follow them to where there are no cameras or witnesses, and beat the fucking shit out of them.

Proper theater etiquette: Keep your mouth shut and your phone silenced and in your pocket or else you'll get your teeth knocked out.

But this was on the radio talk shows here (in Washington, where it happened) and most of the hosts were laughing about it.
