oh it's like an open world Castlevania. choose the dawnguard side (hunters), or the vampires side. The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Dawnguard - Official Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PjBSicSVqI#ws) it seems new abilities are added too. I really enjoy Skyrim and this vampire questline expansion looks incredibly awesome. They should add whips, though. :) I'm thinking of making original Belmont character set in the Tamriel lore for this expansion. Despite no whip, I could just design them as expert hunter which use a variety of weapons, that join the Dawnguard. I wonder what kind of twists the questline could take. like if a character joins dawnguard and they receive vampirism and don't cure it in time, can they switch sides ? That castle looks sooo awesome. Would be best to set difficulty slider high to make it more intense survival. well it's DLC so not expecting the questline to be super long, but who knows? It might be just as long as the SKyrim main questline, without using fast travel.

Thanks for the post I'm definitely going to check this out. I got burned out on Skyrim and this should spruce things up a bit.

yeah as soon as I heard dawnguard was about vampires and hunters I immediately thought of CV! Im pretty sure skyrim is usin the same skeletal system oblivion used tho... which means even simply animating of meshes attached to the skeleton is damn near impossible. So no whips =(

well making a Belnades is viable. ;D Just specialize with fire magic, lightning magic and ice magic, with a staff and they're practically Belnades. ;D it's about time there's a 'Castlevania' centered on a Belnades anyway. ;D
and if you want their Stopwatch subweapon back, just get that Time based Dragonshout. :)

The slow time shout is my favorite. Seems unfair at times its so useful.

I love TES games in theory, but I can never seem to stick with them very long. New expansion is Vampire focused though eh? Wasn't one of the expansions for Morrowind werewolf-centric? Kinda sucks cause even if I was able to stick with it that far, I always play Khajiit and they're incapable of becoming werewolves.
-
yeah bloodmoon for morrowind was about werewolves. All the games feature becomin vampires tho. This just happens to be an expansion based on em
-
I don't use Khajit, but I think all races can turn Werewolf in SKYRIM. the only rant I have about werewolves in this is that it only uses 3rd person. in Bloodmoon you can also use first person for werewolves, but Skyrim werewolves perks and the cool kill cams for their advanced special attacks (like brutally biting them) as well as the cool transformation sequence, makes up for it. overall werewolves in Morrowind are not as cool as Skyrim werewolves visually and gameplay wise. And the expansion is going to give lycanthrope some unique perks!

I heard the interview but didn't look at the screen because it kind of spoils some of the DLC content. But they said it includes 10-20 hours of new vampire hunters and vampires story/content so it's the biggest expansion they released since.... a while ago, lol! I wish they would bring back the Hand-to-Hand and Unarmored skills. I want to make a Monk character like before in the previous TES games. I guess they are adding crossbows in this expansion which is good.
