Title: CV III done in VK style?

This popped into my head after playing some CVIII yesterday. How would CVIII be if it were done in the same format as Vampire Killer? I'm pretty sure the game would take twice as long to finish and probably be three times as hard. The stages themselves are pretty lengthy as they are, but put in the VK exploration bit and it would probably be a nightmare. I could also see Grant, Sypha and Alucard being far more functional here too.

Any thoughts?

I agree. It would definitely be an interesting experiment at the least. I would do a little bit of restructuring and add a couple of stages, too. Tweak character abilities a bit, too.

Agreed, it would be interesting but hard as hell.
