Post by: Dracula9 on July 06, 2012, 12:06:38 PM
Cantus Motetten (http://www.mediafire.com/?lztcrnoex8rj75r)
Requiem for the Gods (http://www.mediafire.com/?f5tgdjhhcz99ua5)
Lost Painting (http://www.mediafire.com/?hhzgihkhuknd26l)

Enjoy, ya'll. These took quite some time.

Just gave your tracks a listen-to. They're all quite good  :)  The only track that I felt was a little underdone was Requiem of the Gods. It sounded almost hollow, lacking that extra depth. But overall good job!

I dig your synth, man.

-Cantus Motetten was 7 minutes though... you looped it quite a few times, there.

-Lost Painting sounds pretty neat! :D  However, it doesn't seem to loop properly since whenever it does the loop, there's some leftover sounds from the music prior to the loop and it hits me like a ton of bricks to the ear.

-For "Requiem for the Gods" you should invest in a Roland GS Sound set.  That seashore-like sound at the beginning is supposed to be be howling wind, but most regular GeneralMIDI synths do not have those patches.  Aside from that, I dig those voices!  Very neat.  It's funny how with your synth, the beginning where the strings play, it resembles "Toothed Wheel" from Castlevania64.

Got it, Jorge. It's a really damn nice selection, particularly the rev strings. Love 'em.

Anyway, I'll redo Painting and Requiem because why not? I've got Rhapsody of Indigo Sorrow and the Monastery theme(which escapes me), as well as Invitation of a Crazed Moon planned. Just a heads-up, not even sure why.
