Stacking Debut Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsrAIe2xWpU#ws)

Stacking is one of those games that I ended up buying because it's on sale, and is made by the Double Fine. I'd heard great things about it, but even after seeing the trailer, I just wasn't sure. Considering that it's normally $15, and that Double Fine is one of the most creative devs in existence, I decided to give it a shot. I figured that at the very worst, I'd at least get some mild amusement out of it, and would only be out a few bucks.

Thus far, I've only played about 3 hours of the game, but my GOD am I loving it. It took a bit to grow on me, but once I got a handle on the gameplay Stacking really pulled me in. As is Double Fine's pedigree, Stacking is overflowing with creativity and humor. Honestly, it's a difficult game to accurately describe, so I think the best thing to do is to just play the game for yourself.

My favorite aspects of the game are it's humor (very few games make me laugh even slightly, Stacking has made me laugh repeatedly), extremely charming art style, and how many of the puzzles have multiple solutions (which the game will reward you for finding them all)

Bottom line, the game is REALLY fun. If you have at least 300msp laying around, I strongly suggest you grab this gem. Honestly, it's worth the full price, so for only 300msp, it's a steal. :)

The trailer made me think of Costume Quest. Then I checked it out on Wikipedia and found out it's the same developer, lol.

I'm gonna get this. Thanks for the heads-up. (Wouldn't have known otherwise.)

So yeah, holy pooballs, this game is fun.

Loved that they implemented farting as a gameplay mechanic. I was so delighted to know I could actually put that to use beyond just doing it for the giggles...
