Dammit, not all this again.

He is acting more like "U.S. House Ignorance Comitee Chair" if you ask me. Its like saying "We need more powerful weapons because a unusual source said us about a unusual alien from a unusual planet, thats pretty unusual so thats why we need it now", I guess that Mr. BS is his contact.

If the American government doesn't get a grip on itself then I only foresee imminent disaster for that nation. Will America be brought down by some unknown outside force? No. They will bring themselves down if they don't lighten up. How many rights and privileges were stripped away in the wake of 9/11? America is steadily devolving into a totalitarian state and sacrificing that which was written in the US Declaration of Independence. They are violating their own upheld beliefs due to their current state of mind: Paranoia. If this is true then the terrorists have already won. You can't fight an external war that is happening within you. If America wants to win the so-called war on terror then they need to stop with the paranoia, reinstate all rights and privileges for all peoples, and turn the other cheek. A terrorist has no power when the power of fear (Terror or tyranny) is nullified. They become nothing more then thugs who are easily beaten down. But the American mentality doesn't see this and because of it, everyone is suffering under their yoke of extremism. Right now America is no different then Rome with Heathens and barbarians knocking at their doors from all sides. All it will take from the American side is one more wrong move. Then it's game over. I really feel sorry for all those American citizens whom have to live in such a country as it currently stands. And I also feel that President Obama himself seem powerless to change it considering that the Presidency is nothing more then a glorified show while the true runners of the country remain in the shadows, pulling the political strings.

100% agree! Not to mention the simple fact that CISPA has nothing the hell to do with cyber terrorism and everything to do with destroying our rights in favor of profit. Here's an idea, how about Rep. Rogers writes his own legislation that actually has something to do with protecting our networks from attacks? And for the record, downloading stuff for free does not constitute a terrorist threat of any kind.

They get kind of preachy but their heart is in the right place. I wish these people would stop jumping on this controlled internet bandwagon, the more they push the more effort will be brought to under mind their work or work around it. The people they want to stop and punish with these kind of bills won't be effected, they'll use alternate means (underground internet, etc.) to get what they want.
It's a huge waste of tax payer money and why I'm a huge proponent for removing corporate interests from government.

I couldn't agree more:conspiracies?,sightings of unknown origins?,terrorists? Bunches of loads of crap. I just wanna live in a normal country not paranoiaville. Internet is internet,no matter how many times you wipe out virus another one will just pop up like a bubble or a rubber ball.
