Title: Castlevania The Adventure: Rebirth?

I have been really wanting to play it and wanted to check if any of you know if there is a way to play on the DS or other way? Or is it just on Wii? I don't have a Wii.

Dolphin. If your PC is at least 2 Duo 3GHz, it should be fine. It runs really good, even better since you can render the game in HD.

The Dungeon has had Castlevania soundtrack downloads on its site since like '97, so...lol. I think I remember there being ROMs at one point too, probably still are.

Anyway, ReBirth is great. Ya gotta play it, dood.

I just don't understand release exclusivity in this day and age. Surely more people would pick up the game if it was available on more systems? Wish there were a way to legally play this without having to resort to piracy or buying a damn Wii. No interest in owning another console. They should bundle the Rebirth series up and port it to Steam - probably not doable, but I'm sure there'd be a lot of takers if it happened.

If it bother's you that much you could always buy a wii points card, tear it up, then get the emulator and download the wad. That way Nintendo get's cash and you have a clear conscience.

Where did you even see the word piracy in my post? Anyone can dump the game from the their original Wii if they want. Also, emulation isn't piracy.

I saw nothing like this in the forum rules in terms of discussion. I would suggest that you look at the rules thread again. Also according to the emulation rules you must delete the aforementioned rom after twenty-four hours or it is considered illegal. Besides we're not talking about piracy here. Wallachia simply wants to know if there's more then one way to play Adventure ReBirth. And besides, Piracy only qualifies if you take a licensed product and sell it on the market. ONLY THEN is it considered piracy.

@Maedhros: He said he doesn't have a Wii, and was basically asking if there were alternatives to getting a Wii. Since you proposed he uses Dolphin, that presupposes he has the console to make the transaction legal, you were in fact promoting piracy.

@X: Deleting a rom within 24 hours is misinformation that has permeated the internet community for over a decade. It is completely bogus and unfounded. You are still legally at fault for even having it a second. Likewise, I believe, owning the original game in a legal format STILL doesn't legally cover you in all cases. You have to have made the copy yourself, as a backup. Self made backups are protected by law, however, downloading it from someone else is still illegal.

Give it more than a few seconds of though and you'll realize that Konami never sees the money in your proposition. Even if you buy points, by never using them you never allocate money to the developer for the purchase, only to Nintendo's service. Thus the developer doesn't get their cut for the game purchase.

Lol well while I agree that people shouldn't be seen as only objects or particular attributes, I don't see a pun or joke about a part of the female anatomy as inherently worse than one about the male anatomy. Crude sexual/body humor has been with us at least since ancient Greek comedy and I'm willing to bet even long before that.

It's funny in part because the physical functions of sexualized bodyparts (giving milk in the case of breasts) are not at all proportional to the value we place on them since, by instinct or culture rather than logic, they're seen as sexually provocative. Boobs are basically milk glands and fat, yet many or most men and some women find them hypnotic and sexually arousing, even though they're usually more a hassle to the person that has them than anything else. This situation is so absurd that it's funny. Hence boobs are funny. Social taboo only further adds to the subversive flavor of the humor.
