I'm thankful for Puwexil, The Real Paavo, the Fake Paavo, and A-yty-sama. And bloodreign and gunlord, I guess. What are you all thankful for today on this day that probably a good half of you aren't celebrating?

Canada's already had it's thanksgiving. We celebrate it on the second Monday of October. It has been that way since 1957.

Why do Canadians do everything before it was cool to do it? D:

I find thanksgiving to be a really convoluted holiday. It's date history is right-up weird. We used to have it on the month of November 6th I believe but then it was push back to October for some reason. It might have something to do with the fact the we get winter here a lot quicker then the US does.

I see you chose the traditional holiday greeting for the title of this thread.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Canada? I thought Thanksgiving's a holiday celebrated only in the US. Or did you Canadians decide one day, "hey, it's a nice holiday, let's celebrate it as well"?

I think we first started celebrating it when the Confederation of Canada started. I could be wrong as it may have started much earlier.
