Does anyone here know enough about Action Replay to come up with a code that disables the demon seals in Dawn of Sorrow?
Because I think I speak for everyone when I say, frig those things.
-
Well, the Seals in the game are pretty damn easy.
Unless you were like me and played the game on an emulator. Then yeah, frig those things.
-
Will someone please lock this thread. DoS was a bad game that should not have been made and was way too easy. Now let us never speak of the game again.

OVERRULED!
No locking.
But no, I don't know any AR codes. The seals are easy unless you're playing it on an Emulator.
Hell, I even have the last ones memorized by now.

While the seal system was passable, what purpose does it have outside of shoehorning use of the touch screen? It interrupts the fast-paced gameplay with a connect the dots puzzle, leaving you to scramble for the stylus and if you screw it up, you get punished with the boss regenerating health, which is more frustrating than it's worth. If the touch screen was used for some Zelda-style puzzles in dungeons and not in the heat of battle, I'd probably be more forgiving of the feature.

Or maybe even having a fourth seal slot meant for souls specifically used with the touch screen? Like dragging your finger across the ground on the touch screen creates a trail of fire?
Personally, I think they should have just rebuilt CV from the ground up for the DS, rather than just reusing the old formula with some badly added gimmicks. At least Sisters mode of PoR used the screen appropriately.

well, for 1, thats just YOUR opinion.
A thread lock simply because you deem it a "bad game" seems kinda ridiculous don't you think?
Or maybe you where joking? :-\
I actually liked DOS, granted not nearly as much as I liked AOS.
But I hated the seal system as well.
I have it on my DS but started playing it on a emulator so I could use action replay codes and hacks.
Its a freaken pain in the arse to draw those seals on my laptop using my keboard lol.
Would love to have a code for this.

I wonder if someone could create some sort of an input macro for the emulators.

I wonder if cryptic thread titles should be forbidden, jesus...

yea, on some forums its a rule against titles like this that aren't specific.
Like
"Hey, I have a question"
"Guess what happened?"
"Want to know a secret?"
"Something great just happened!"
Just to name a few examples.

Okay.
