Post by: P/\/\\/o on January 20, 2013, 03:51:05 PM
Best of Ric Flair going nuts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCxWUKMJfEI#ws)

Just watch that 14 mins video in all of its glory! And thank god that Columbia provided its concoctions for Ric Flair!!!

Anytime Ric Flair would take off his jacket and elbow drops it is pure gold.

Ultimate Warrior promos are also quite hilarious:

I didn't need a post to know this, but thanks for putting the rad vids in one easy to access place, guys. I used to keep my lone Ultimate Warrior action figure in my Super Mario Bros. lunch box with all of my He-Man action figures. When my dad was sober & not worn out from work, he'd always imitate Rick Flair for me & lemme headlock him. Man, I miss 1989...ah, at least my best guy friend does a great Ultimate Warrior impression when he's piss drunk.

I passed The Iron Sheik's booth at a comic/entertainment convention in Anaheim once—I didn't speak to him.

He's frightening.

The only man I find to ever match Flair in intensity in promos is Macho Man Randy Savage, that man could scare the pants off you sometimes with the things he'd say out of left field.

Oooooooh yeeeeeeaaaaah!

He's hypin' with the Lord now, God rest his soul. I always imagined he smelled like nachos as a kid...I was weird.

Truly this is an art with such a profound depth that mere words cannot properly describe it. In other words: DAYUM, that shit be hype, yo.

Michael Hegstrand (Road Warrior Hawk) promo's were always awesome, as this huge, steroid-riddled biker-guy had an amazing wit on the mike (as opposed to just yelling non-nonsensical gibberish), especially when they had Precious Paul Ellering to feed off of what Hawk would say. I would mention Animal, but I don't recall anything notable out of him.

I tell you who can't cut a promo, John Cena. That guys promo last Monday was the ridicule around the internet, mix that with a now boring WWE and you have a recipe for a guy who doesn't deserve the spotlight he's given.

Also pot shot at WWE, predictable Royal Rumble finishes for the rumble and the main event. Also Rock should quit wrestling, guys terribly out of shape.

I'm not an Ultimate Warrior fan (mostly because of the motivational speaking incident) but I listened to this whole video while doing something else a while back and haha wow, if even half this stuff is true The Hulkster must have been super embarrassed it got out.
Hulk Hogan "Karma is coming to collect" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQLtsq9lL8A#)
Also lol top comment.

Since that's kind of a downer though and makes wrestlers seem like bad people, have the real life story of "Fray Tormenta"/"Friar Storm" the Priest who wrestled under a mask for 20+ years to keep an orphanage open with the money he made.

Yeah, Nacho Libre (and a bunch of other stuff) was inspired by this real guy.

I LOVE THAT WHACKO!  ;D He says, that he has a new job in 'fine arts'. Which means, he paints and signs pictures of the ultimate warrior for a high price. Which is all fine! But 'job in fine art'?  ;D
